is it necessary to do decarbon at 40000km in 308turbo?
ask at the service center, they dont know about it.
where can we do it if needed and would that void warranty?
really worry about the famous depolutional error.
mine is thp 156 now 40000km,so far ok.

Yes thats what i was told in pijot sc. 408 less premature carbon built but they still do in some cases!
Audi, bmw, mercedes and all those gdi engine makers are looking under each others hood how to solve this problem .
Lastest i heard mercedes came up with extra micro noozle cleaning those valves! At Etuner i think thats where i read

Frankly I've not heard any 408t with premature carbon buildup problem. There's more than 100 owners registered at the Lowyat 408 forum. This is a 408 dedicated forum and is very active on a daily basis. Almost 3 years since it was established,over 10,000 postings, not a single complaint about premature carbon buildup. To me this is an excellent testament of EP6CDTM's reliability!

Infact I'd say all complaints so far has been QC issues, which the SCs have solved.

I can't say for sure Peugeot has found the perfect solution, or if there's such a thing! The mods done on EP6CDTM is proving reliable. I have no doubt by now other manufactures would have found their own solutions.

he is back in business AFAIK. There's no one better. Heck, I'm still driving my pijot because I know I can rely on him to maintain it properly.

vr2turbo literally did help me to wake him up...... chargerguy a friendly guy......before and after photo, shows my valves are very clean.
