N4speed,
FYI, rear seat having internally 2 latch (left and right)on top of
cushion,u need to pull together. Same thing goes to bottom rear seat
having 2 latch on bottom near the to the carpet. 1 thing for the
left/right rear cushion fix by a screw mounting. After removed the rear
seat u can see this screw mounted to the body.
I'm fixed with oval speaker but need to add additional kit to holding the
speaker.I think ur speaker is fix like normal size speaker. I having a
vibration problem using this speaker if i'm enter at uneven road.
(trek..trek sound) giving me additional base.Disapprove. I'm plan to change to
another speaker that why I'm asking the rear size speaker. Current
speaker I'm get it for my previous car, that one i'm using almost 5
years. Now try to looking for a new one. I'm upgrade my player to kenwood
KDC MPC-7023. May be u can have sharing what u fix on ur ICE.

N4Speed,

Don't know about your case. To me, I advise you to get a Good AMP. RM
200++.. not so good on the sound effect. A good Amp can last many years.
Save more $ and get an Alpine. Currently having Alpine V12, the vocal,
clearity on stock speaker is noticable.

fcbgaX,

i know how to remove the seat cushion,
remove the clip near the carpet ma..

and fold down the rear leaning cushion,...
with the 2 red button, clip on top of the cushion wan

but the 2 side piece(left + right)cushion must be removed in order to
slide out the speaker board ma...
u were saying there is a screw holding the 2 piece of cushion, may i know
the location of the screw holding that 2 piece of cushion?..

and yes, i believe ur using a 6 by 9 (egg / oval shape) speaker for your
rear,.as the original speaker is round wan,..not oval,,so, i think u have
to potong the metal bracket abit to accommodate such changes,as for mine
is round speaker 6.5" inch speaker will fit in ngam ngam wan,so no
modification/potong needed just slot in only.

well, my head unit is SONY CDX-F5500 (MP3/CDR/CDRW) Single Disc Unit, all
still running on original wiring,

front speaker still original 6" incher 20W wif ori "Tweeter" of course,...

rear speaker taken from my old car wan,..a pair of SONY XS-HF78 Component
Speaker Set (6.5" inch X 2),2 Dome Tweeter and 1 pair of passive
CrossOver (Adjustable)

and currently no Amplifier or Sub-Woofer yet lor...looking a good Amp of
course,,but very limited budget lar,,hehe!...

N4Speed,
The 2 side piece (left&right) cushion screw mounted located internally
but u need to remove the cover that cover up the body from center
position. I mean like a carpet behind your cushion. To remove this carpet
it have special clip.Just pull the clip. The clip look similar like your
door side cover.Once u remove the cover, u can see a screw for holding
this side cushion.
I'm still using standard wiring, right now no budget to upgrade to
amplifier or sub-woofer, plan to do it until budget cukup.Cool
