I recently overhauled my Prado 1kz (done by professional).
Started with pressure test which indicated 1 cylinder below pressure limit, 3 cylinders borderline.
After opening up the engine, measurement of the cylinders done, it shows bottom of cylinders bigger than tolerance limit.
Boring done, size of cylinder larger by 1mm.
4 bigger pistons orderd and replaced together with new piston arms.
Took more than 3 months and about 18k bucks. Some parts had to come from Japan.
The result is I get a super clean engine, good power, no more leakage even at turbo part.
However after only about 2500km the engine oil level is at the bottom of the dipstick mark! This is slightly worse than before the overhaul.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Welcome all advice.

After some pressure test (pressure ok), and further checks, it was found that the mid section of the turbo was leaking. Turbo taken and sent to turbo specialist in JB. Mid section replaced, including the center shaft which has signs of wear. Damage 950. Including GST is 1k+.
