Hi there i'm from australia and the mechanics here are really expensive, does anyone knows how to do an oil change and oil filter in a ssangyong stavic 2.7TD? trying to save some money, maybe a video or pictures would help, basicly flushing the oil is not a problem, my concern is how to replace the oil filter as it looks as an air filter but in tube shape and no idea where it goes and how to replace it, thanks in advance

Stavic 2.7 share the same engine as Rexton RX270XDI. It required Engine oil meeting at least API CI4 and preferably having MB229.1/MB229.3 approval. You will need a special tool cap opener to open up the oil filter cap.

Thanks, the oil is not a problem, my problem is locating where the oil filter goes, by any chance you would not have any picture to see where is located? also any other way to change the filter with that special tool?
