AB price is not cheap either.
What is the difference between a claybar for light coloured and dark coloured cars?
I see soft 99 got 2 types of claybars.
Clay bar for Light colour paintwork usually less aggressive (rough) vs dark coloured car

For those company that launches two kind of clay bar for light and dark colour cars, i would like to think that they would be utilizing LESS aggressive clay bar as it would not caused much marring on the surface which would be easier to see on a dark colour car (black).
So conclusion
Light Car = Aggressive Clay Bar
Dark Car = Lease aggressive Clay Bar
But how much aggressive it is between those two, i would say its marginal at best ...

YES.
1. Dark colour cars = Mild clay
2. Light colour cars = More aggressive clay.
3. Dull or Oxidized cars = Even more aggressive clay.
But if you have light coloured car and the car only have slight amount of roughness to it use a mild clay (which is for dark coloured cars).

Ok, seriously, I also need to learn how to use it. Got tiny spots of tar (or something else) in front and side that I wish to smoothen out. I read that need to use block and running water ...

If they're tar, use solvent (mineral spirit, petrol, diesel, lighter fluid, etc). If they're grits/dirt then only use clay.

Actually I am not happy with PG clay bar. I thought there was no difference but I was wrong. I find my car paint still feel gritty after claying with PG. This never happens when I am using Megs clay bar.
This is to confirm than Megs clay is so much better than PG clay. I cracked open my new Megs clay today, and after claying, my paint did not feel gritty at all, so unlike when I was using the PG clay.
I was previously using Megs clay but I thought I save money by using PG clay. I really wanted to like PG clay because it would save me money.
You get what you pay, I guess.
