Thanks,

I have been having this problems for a number of years already. It happen every 2000 to 3000 km. It can happen during slow or fast cruising. But the car has never died during idling. Have change the Crank Sensor and Oil control valve, the problem is still there. The ECU cannot pinpoint an error as it happen in a split second and Kia service center cannot do a check-up because it happens every 2000 to 3000 km. I hope somebody can resolve this problem as I really love the car.

Have change the O2 sensor and now still testing whether it comes back or not.

Mine sometimes when stationary engine just died off initially when check no error faulty part found SC just
erase the error from the scan pro (Error in Number)and it will come back again.

According to some owners of Forte 2.0 they experience engine check light ON while driving which
have the same issue with O2 sensor and after replacement the engine lights go OFF.

Maybe you should try take out the O2 sensor and have a check for its conditions.
