Car/mpv Roof Rack And Roof Box

I have a question regading the usage of roof rack and roof box. Is there a JPJ permit to use these items?

Not that I know of but u need to check the clearance on some road or underground parking; if i'm not mistaken the clearance is 2 metres high if you want to pass through e.g at some PLUS rest area...

Allow me to tumpang this thread.

I am looking for roof bar for mitu pajero lo47.
I found some in melaka but its to low causing the bar to contact the roof.
Fyi my roof is higher towards the back,

I went to an acc shop and found 1 that is too high.
Its cheap though at rm100++.
However its too high and with the rack on top,its even higher.
Plus,the material seems flimsy.its steel but looks flimsy.

Found another at another shop,better buikt but its too low.

Can anyone help?
mine must be mounted on the gutter so rack made for normal car wont fit.

Original for Pajero don't have?

Not that i know of. I think the one with OE roof rack most probably got it of half cut or chop shop.

I have already weld the rack from square steel. Weigh around 12 kg.
No bad for DIY stuff, just need to work more on my welding skill to get that clean look.
