hi guys,

yesterday, my Acyton battery failed on me after 1yr 10mth. the brand is Rocket http://rbattery.com/index.php even after jump start, it can't even retain a charge to crank my engine after 2hr drive. it just dead completely. so get a Century Marathon NX120-7 which is a direct fit.

so for you guys hitting 1.5yr better get it change. cheers.

yesterday...hit a new max speed...195+Kph... of course with some gadgets. smile_blush.gif

alright...

looks like the battery only can survive marginally 1 year.

Wanna ask:

Did you guys make use of the 12 volt (cigi light up) port as the function for charging mobile devices often?

As for me, I never use that. The only thing I constantly use is the USB port (to read a thumb drive) for playing MP3s.

I am doing a daily travel of around 90 km per working day and average about 50km per day for weekends

guys,

wanna check with you on the service interval.

Are you guys following the 10,000 KM service interval? Or can do it shorter?

I also noticed that the engine oil that SC using is 5W30..will it be too thin?

I am actually planning to change the lub to another brand, any recommendation especially for our car?

thanks

I am doing every 5k with semi. Using Helix HX7 E 5W30 (low ash) so far so good. 10K too long especially city driving.

Guys,

I experienced a bad cabin filter.

Lately I travel along North South h/way...very often those polluted smell somehow able to enter to the car.

I have repeatedly check if the air conding is either on the circulate mode...and yes it is.

I wonder if there is any compatible pollen filter could replace the ori?

hello bro,

so far mine, air con really good and cold and can't really smell anything from outside. it is possible the recirculation flap stuck or not completely closed? I just changed mine pollen filter and it is relatively costly.

hi just to share,

last weekend did a DIY to change front brake pad on my Acyton/Korando after 40K. if going for original about RM360/pr. getting reputable brand brake pad cost less than 50% of the price. smile_thumbup.gif btw, out caliper is a 2 pot system

the rear one will be changed soon. cheers.
