Again u talk nonsense, if oto/mudah price r consider over inflated price that mean it is same for both Korean & Japanese, how can used korean car price is the actual paying price while used japanese car price is merely asking price ?

U R correct those who would pay 70 over thousand for a used Forte is indeed amateur budak mentah, i mean do some calculation why would some one not take the new Forte for extra 10K ? paying lower interest, full warranty, new car ?

Do u know paying 70 over thousand for a used car come up to same value as 80 over thousand new car over 5 - 7 years, Which idiot would pay same value for used 4AT Forte while there can get 6AT new Forte ?

Japanese car have many legend as there have glory past, famous Nissan sport car like Silvia S14, GTR 33, 34, & great many model r highly desirable, wherelse Korean car have dark past, imagine who would ever look for Sephia, Spectra smile_tongue.gif

Offcoz in the 90's these car r not desirable, is like Vintage wine u need to keep for some time to become vintage, as the supply getting less so the price would surely increase, if u have a Ming Vase during Ming Dynasty surely it not worth much, but today it worth a fortune, understand Ding Dong. 1237.gif

Those who bought Forte, they are fine with it. Only some that believe 13-16km/L in your product is true, those got fooled if they think getting 9km/L in heavy city traffic is bad for C-segment 1.6L. Fact is that is normal in reality be it for Korean and Japanese proper made. Even your crappy Lavina can't even get 9km/L under same location with same traffic and driving condition. Comparing Forte with Lavina:

Heavy traffic Forte 9km/L , Lavina 8km/L
light city driving Forte 11.2km/L, Lavina 9.6km/L
Highway Forte 14km/L, Lavina only 12km/L

Legendary sports car has nothing to do with your crappy substandard product. This phrase, it was taught to you by 1 of the Marketing Manager. Fyi, Japanese carmakers have darker past too where their cars were totally unreliable that you could barely drive few times including stalling and can't start. Digging old topic no longer works as the Korean found the formula in building proper engine earlier thanks to MMC & Chrsyler.

Let me guess this is another of ur imaginative FC figure just like the rest of ur Walter Mitty Dream.

1.) Big Event Result favour to U.
2.) Korean car good RV.
3.) U will be replacing our bunch.
4.) Jolokia = Popcorn.
5.) Japanese boss will come in.

Very strange isn't Silvia, Skyline GTR, 200sx is all NISSAN smile_approve.gif

Pss. My Manager report to me not the other way around. smile_tongue.gif

Japanese already found fomula to proper engine like 30-40 years ago, till today Hwontai Nu. engine is still "unrefined" 059.gif so much for building car for 44 years. 1237.gif

While I am not so anal about FC, but my 1.6tonne+ mini-van is doing 8+km/l in urban driving and also showing 14-15km/l on highway. In fact, my Latio 1.8A is doing worst than my fat van, averaging 8km/l in urban driving albeit, I only travel at most 20km a day. smile_tongue.gif
Please don't PM me.

This has shown that most of the car if drive short distance everyday, even it is a small displacement plus very light car, it still consume more fuel than a big displacement, heavier car but driven long distance more! But seem like a lot of stubborn human keep coming here and give false information, twist whatever true fact to become bullshit!

Funny, my own impartial tests reveal that:

Heavy traffic Fortek 8km/L , Livina 9km/L
light city driving Fortek 9.6km/L, Livina 11.2km/L
Highway Fortek 12km/L, Livina only 14km/L

You sure about your readings, silly boy?

Nothing imaginative. They are all facts by the way. Since big event results were altered from good to unfavorable, your Japanese boss is deciding to shift plants to Thailand. Seems likely if you bunch failed to convince them to let you assemble the newer generation proper quality models here. Padan muka to you bunch if that happens. Toyota already shifted long ago followed by Honda. And now, N-brand since you bunch like to bring in wrong models altering their products like you own them.

feelfree & cbsteh,

Those FC figure in my comments are taken from real cars driven on real road. Wonder why genuine owners including N-brand owners agreed with my figures much more than you bunch. Unker Foo posted his actual city driving FC, wonder why you jumped to conclusion that he's driving short distance, etc. If the car FC is good, driving short distance often will only end up getting city FC rather than highway. Looks like you agreed indirectly that turn off/on engine will result in poorer FC. Wonder why you said otherwise in lightfoot driving method?

Instead, your claim of 13-16km/L to even exceeding 20km/L are only achievable with customised fuel tank. Those are nothing more than false claim aimed at cheating buyers. If you wanted to cheat also cheat properly. The way you bunch cheat shows that you bunch don't know what most cars FC are in reality. Your figure, heavy 2.5L V6 could even beat Vios 1.5 in city driving.

Check Mudah.com how come some Sylphy '10 posted asking price RM80k while some posted asking price RM65k? Reason being they are used car dealers posted high markup prepare for bargain hoping to earn more than the supposed market value. Due to can't sell end up lying on the yard for few months, they starting to revert to closer to market value now. Get it?

RV is determined by demand for the used unit and how much 2nd hand owners willing to fork out for that car. Demand low, resale value low. Nothing to do with brand. It's the make/model and overall score on reliability/durability, practicality, maintenance and looks that count.

Maybe U been hypnotised to believe it been altered. smile_tongue.gif
With the AFTA implemented there is no difference if it assemble in Thailand or here, the tax rate is the same, plus "our bunch" can save on investment of new production line.
A. s U know there r gag order on "our" plan t. r. not allow to review to ding dong rival like u, just wait for more surprises coming soon. smile_approve.gif
