I think ford focus offer the best value for money among the entire range of Ford camp.

True but it's pummeled left, right and centre by many other competitors at its price point. Sure, most of them have lower specs but nobody else cares.

me too interested to know...it's ok to give your opinion but better to provide facts to back it up...

I think he had the Proton Preve in mind when making that earlier comment.

Cheaper? - yes!
Safer? - Well, it did score 5 starts in Australia's ANCAP tests. Can't argue with that smile_tongue.gif
Better to drive? - Not too bad actually once you get past that whiny & unresponsive CVT gearbox.

likewise .. ford is giving a value for money package nowadays if you manage to look beyond the badge ..
like other conti's ... you have to drive it to appreciate.

I never like ford and MPV's ..but S-max really change my perception. To be frank - it handles better than my ex-308 and was way more comfortable.

Right now, i don't mind changing my current car with the S-max as it is a competent car and at ways better at high speed.

The 308 is a rubbish car to drive smile_angry.gif Poor dynamics coupled with a engine/gearbox combo that is not up to my standards! The gearbox is so jerky, I swear it has a mind of its own. Most Peugeot fans will argue that it needs time to learn my driving pattern but why can other cars learn my driving style faster than the Peugeot?

I, for example, was seriously considering a proton preve to replace my 2005 ford lynx rs.
I ended up buying an smax. And my rs is still with me, 8 years later.

Go figure... smile_big.gif

Bro....I bought smax because I wanted a mpv.....but you were actually looking at preve and then decided on smax? What's the story there? Sounds pretty amazing to completely jump a few barriers in terms of price, class and performance.

Saw the KUGA at 1Utama today.

I liked the exterior very much.

Interior had a bit too much shiny plastics for my liking and the plastic quality though good, still felt sub-par in terms of fit and finish for a car of this price.

But the whole dash board/equipment etc. looks very futuristic. Like some spaceship control board....in a nice way.

Was actually there to collect a birthday cake and only saw the roadshow after collecting it. A bit difficult to take pictures while holding a birthday cake. As it is, the sales people already give me one look when I sat in the car holding a cake box wink.gif

But from what I saw, the earlier pdf specs posted by another forumner looks accurate.

Hai yah bro,

We do not need high quality picture here :-), one hand hold cake, the other hand hold handphone and snap a few pictures will do.

2 white units on display. I was also in a rush so I did not view the cars but I did see the auto-closing tailgate in action smile_thumbup.gif
