Yes whole dpf removed and regeneration software delete together with all software mod. I have not done it as I have not been down KL. Will get it done at next service.
Even BMW diesels for Malaysian Market don't come with dpf. So don't worry about gomen. Where is Euro 4 diesel?

Hi rex,

Glad to know that dpf removal done. I asked the agents to remove the dpf, but they have removed only the sensors (temp and pressure) of the dpf and ECU modified. Now the active regeneration has stopped and i am quite worried that dpf will get completely blocked in time. Since there are no pressure sensors, ECU will not know that the dpf clogged or not.

i am in desperate situation. I cannot imagine, how on earth that a responsible agent could to such an unwise thing to a vehicle!!!!!

that is very strange! how can they leave the DPF inside? i didn't go for the de-DPF and i kind of like EuroV spec. It will regen if require and i will let it be. just sometimes feel a bit 'shameful' when white smoke coming out when idling or town driving.

other than that, 'love' exhaust smell and clean tailpipes. mine already 40K and so far so good.

Yes, i was really shocked to see the DPF is intact after their conversion from euroV to euroIII. I contacted the service manager and he confirmed that they just only removed sensors. Seems they have done it to get rid of customer complains about the white smoke. Its really a shame that how could they do such an alteration to a vehicle knowing that active regeneration is a must for a long term use of DPF.

I wanted to get rid of the DPF considering the poor quality of diesel available in our country and also since i daily drive a very short distance.

I should complain this to the higher authority of the agent.

Hi Guys,

Wanted to check if anyone here have this 2 issues?

1. SunRoof slider: Auto sliding forward and backward when it is open

2. USB port: It seems none of my USB stick could get this work.

The above 2 issues was reported during my first service but SC can't seems able to solve them.

Hmm...

1. Sunroof sliding.. mine only slides backwards when the roof is opening. Not sliding forward when it's closing. I need to do it by myself. Hmm.. if you are talking about the board roof being loosely opening and closing then you gotta get it fix.

2. USB Port... ha... I am under the impression that older USB sticks works... I am using it with an old 1GB stick and it works but it does not work on my newer 8GB / 16 BG sticks... need more info from other users. Not sure if it's the size of the memory sticks or the USB 1 / 2.0 technology that is causing the problem.

Hmmm... I thought they would have replaced it with a hollow tube? That's what they told me. Seriously need to get it removed completely if its not used else once fully clogged, it might cause problems.

Yep, with next service i'll force them to remove it with a hollow tube.

I haven't faced problems with USB, newer 8GB ones work properly!!!!

Was at PJ SC today and spoke to SA who says the Dpf is always taken out if delete regeneration. Mine had ESP warning light. Turn out the brake switch faulty. After replacement ok. But on way back to Ipoh when pushing very hard with rpm reaching near 4k, suddenly lost power and slowed down to about 100kmph max. Some km later, pull into a rest stop, off engine and restart. Almost back to normal although a slight loss of power is felt. 50km or so later, when being cucuk by a Santa Fe, dropped a gear or two by flooring the pedal. Then it happen again! After another restart later, almost back to normal. Wondering what could be wrong.

Mine, it seems they have taken out the bottom layer of the DPF. Now i can notice a slight black smoke and smoke deposites on the muffler.

I am wondering whether your vehicle is experiencing a Turbo issue?

1. Sorry for not being specific. Yes, it is the internal roof board. The SA told me, all unit actually have free play. Sigh...
Was trying to use rubber as stopper..Not workable.

2. My old USB stick with 1GB also doesn't work. Now I think I got to plug my lame Sony USB player to try...But it is very long stick wey....

hi guys,

yesterday, my Acyton battery failed on me after 1yr 10mth. the brand is Rocket http://rbattery.com/index.php even after jump start, it can't even retain a charge to crank my engine after 2hr drive. it just dead completely. so get a Century Marathon NX120-7 which is a direct fit.

so for you guys hitting 1.5yr better get it change. cheers.

yesterday...hit a new max speed...195+Kph... of course with some gadgets. smile_blush.gif
