Suggest you pay a visit to Citroen showroom and judge by yourself on the reasonably of the both the DS priced.

I owned DS4, so, I will still recommend it to my friend for those who has 165k budget and looking for something special in outlook with relatively high quality of build-up.

As for DS5, after I pay a visit today, I will said it is definitely worth for RM195K. (pls also compare with our neighboring country or even UK, Netherlands...)

In overall, both of these car is for special niche market and therefore, as explained by some of the PPL here is not targeted for large volume of sales, I agreed.

I can understand that most of the DS owner all around the world is buy for the car design and build quality in term of performance.

If look for performance at this price range, I recommend for second-hand EVO..

Eventually, you will have to compromise on Wira-like or Inspira-like looks... smile_blush.gif

DS4

DS5

Both of them look nice and sound mowrht for the price with their loads of accessories. But yet I will still buy VW Gold TSI against DS4 and VW Passat over DS5. I hope that I can have better service quality over my few years of ownership.

Balady nice car you got there. It's good to have a Citroen owner here to comment, otherwise most of the comments here would be made out of hearsay..

How did you buy the DS4? This model is just being launched. You booked it before lunch?

How long how you own this new model from Citroen?

If it is still new, then we shall wait for the service provided by the appointed service center and the reliability of this car.

Well, the money is yours and of course, we can only give advise and suggestion.

A nice looking wine glass may not be able to keep large amount of wine and its all up to the person who enjoy the wine..

You are right!

That's why after I owned this car, immediately join the club and keep in touch with all others owners all around the world.

I would proudly said that the spec here is exactly the same in compare to UK or rest of Europe.

Not like some other car maker who wish to drive down the cost by omit some safety features or accessories...

brother, DS 4 being sold by Brookland almost 12months ago..

Some of the DS4 Owner in Malaysia has already enjoyed their ride for 1 year...

In term of reliability, you can also check it out at Citroen Singapore forum.

Not much of complaint actually.

To me, either it is service by Brookland previously or Naza in future, it has not different.

Being a professional, I hardly complaint on employer or service centre as we known all they are under-employed and

they only perform their task.. I always believe that if we expected someone to treat us nicely,

Then we should also friendly to them... smile_blush.gif

jacksonkua,

Your DS4 uses 6 speed auto with 1.6L THP engine right?
If you slow down to a stop by lifting your foot off the pedal, does the car jerk like a galloping horse at around 40-30 kph?
Assuming you don't step on the brakes.

No, mine is 6 speed semi auto and of course 1.6 THP.

So far I can't feel any jerking.

Some has complaint about the ESG gearbox but mine is alright.

If you can master this ESG gearbox with paddle shift will have a lot fun..
