2 scenarios here.

Drivers that do not know where he/she wants to go. May see this lane faster, turn out and out of sudden, original is faster, turn in again and has to stop due to traffic. Cause others in trouble.

Second, if the width is really small, why still force yourself through?

which one do you prefer? bike forcing thru and slightly hit your sidemirror

OR

bike zigzagging and end-up hitting your car in the butt or fender or bumper

people does not want trouble...so people behave drive and ride properly.....but when one party drive/ride in such improper way there's consequences......car driving danggerously would hit bike....bike ridden dangerously would hit car.... but when both party doing good then everyone happy......so in order to make other your self happy, first make other people happy by driving/riding properly....

....on the other story....today was driving to work...traffic not so heavy due to people taking holiday....but after besraya tol heading to KL/mrr2 there's a white vios (quite new car) driving stupidly fast on right lane (using smart tag)...fast fast untill at splitway (left to kl/jalan klang lama and right to mrr2) the driver take fast corner to the left.....then suddenly when he just about to pass the guardrail do emergency braking and taking right again literally stopping in the middle of the road...what an idiot he is..... (*i was following from behind with very2 far distant and almost laughing and crying at the same time looking at the way the driver drove his car)

I wanted to turn left from T junction to main road. A motor from main road wanted to turn right to my road. Even though he did not lighted the signal, it had no problem. He should turn from outside of me. However, he turned to right at my left side. Since when Malaysia is left side driving?

I stared at him. He stared at me looked like I was the one who did wrong. I did not horn him, stopped and just left him through. No point to get into trouble with this samseng!

Simple. LACK of ENFORCEMENT.

Malaysia boleh.
Polis don't care.
JPJ not there.

Catch them, say no money pay.
Or same race not helping own race.
Then give discounts to those who didn't pay, enforcement BEGS people to pay up.
Those idiots like me who pay full amount within stipulated period last time ... gets nothing.

So ? Becomes cowboy.
Don't need go far or kampung or outskirt.
In KL itself, Segambut Dalam, Kg. Medan, Cheras/Langat, Kg .Baru, etc. many ride without helmet. Some are young kids that don't even have license. Some bikes even no road tax & insurance.

Therefore ? People start to break rules. AES also cannot catch cars now.
People go speeding.
Drive on road shoulder/emergency lane.
Cut queue
Run red lights
Park at no parking road (yellow line)
Double/Triple/Quad park (goto any schools)
Goto religious place like mosque, temple, church (Jalan Gasing?) during their time, people simply park anywhere.

Me ? I also break the rules very frequent on daily basis. Like going over speed limit, etc. No one catch me, cause I know lack of ENFORCEMENT.

Try do that in kiasu-land ... even kiasu-lang drive like Saint in their country, but can be speed demon once drive in.

To me is simple.

I bang motorcycle - he claim my insurance, I lost NCD, fair and square.

Motorcycle bang me - he ALSO claim my insurance, I lost NCD, not fair.

Motorcycle go wrong way - we bang each another (like in your case) - he ALSO claim my insurance, I lost NCD, not fair.

No matter what, car driver is the losing side. So, I don't give a beaver-dam nowadays, or about my car scratch/dent/bang/losing NCD/etc.
If I'm going to "get hit" or "to hit" a motorcycle, I might as well do it at full force/speed, within the legal speed limit (e.g. 80km/h), and what not.

Last time I rode kapchai, I followed the full rules as per car. Go extra all the way 1-3km in order to u-turn or go somewhere. Nowadays kapchai u-turn or cut-across road at pedestrian zebra crossing.
Basement parking I follow all the signs like cars using kapchai. Nowadays motorcycle go up/down the ramp which is nearest/fastest, and don't care the ramp directions.
Well, maybe I'm an idiot though to follow all the rules last time.

I was in right lane. A motor in left lane. The motor turned to right lane to overtake a slow car. It was done just before I wanted to pass by the slow car. I have to brake hard to let this King to go through first.

My dear King, yes, you are the King, you are on the top of the world. I have to let you go first no matter under what condition and situation. But if one of your people does not manage to brake and knock you down, I let you go to HELL first.

Government has comitted to give those qualified RM500. Why my mom only can get RM250? Anyone can tell me why? Ai ya, so stupid! Even a baby know the answer! The second half will give you next time.........only matter of time. May be the next GE.

Only 2 motors at left lane ahead of me while I was in right lane. there was no car in front of me. I decided to accelerate. By the moment I would overtake these motors. One of them turned to my lane. I was sure that the right lane was big enough for 2 motors. I have to turned to left lane and overtook him.

Hello, King, I know you can do whatever you want. But, please, think of others. If you died, you can just relax in HELL but I will suffer for police invenstigation, repairing car.....................

Yes, is my case again. If we knocked a motor on highway, let say KESAS, what will happen? I wanted to turn from middle lane to right lane, I have confirmed that no car. Only after half way did it, I notice there was a superbike came out from nowhere, may be blind spot. I just turned out ignoring this motor. I decided to knock it if it this fellow did not avoid me. Of course, I know it has plenty of room doing it. I was really angry!

Some may say the motor lane is small and dangerous. But I can say that Kesas's motor lane is big and safe. Every one pass by can notice if anything happen. smile_angry.gif smile_angry.gif smile_angry.gif

I didn't read through this whole thread but have just read this news today.

No doubt driving a bike can be safe, BUT, the unexpected can sometimes happen.

http://thestar.com.m...=...&sec=nation

KUALA LUMPUR: A van driver who attempted to evade the police knocked into a car and three motorcycles, killing one motorcyclist and injuring his daughter.

The horrific incident happened along the road from Selayang to Rawang at around 11.45am yesterday.

Motorcylist M. Ramanayah, 55, died of severe head injuries while his daughter is in critical condition.

Selangor deputy police chief Datuk A. Thaiveegan said that the driver was sleeping in his van in Selayang when he was awakened by police conducting a random check.

“The suspect suddenly accelerated his van to escape with the police giving chase,” he said .

Thaiveegan said during the 30-minute pursuit, the police car chasing the van, flashed its warning lights and sirens to alert motorists to clear the way, but the van knocked into the two motorcycles and a car at the 18th kilometre stretch, injuring two men.

Thaiveegan said the suspect then rammed into Ramanayah’s motorcycle, killing him on the spot and injuring his daughter.

“The man then escaped on foot to a nearby forest but he was caught 10 minutes later.

“The 28-year-old suspect from Raub, Pahang, has three previous criminal records and tested positive for drugs,” he added.
