I hope NAZA brings the DS5,I too am keen on it. At the same time am concerned about the poor reviews on this car. Apparently due it's suspension system the ride is harsh.

haha, had you being reading Autocar and What Car?

I love to read these magazines/websites. But I always discovered that they are very unforgiving on ride qualities. They are also putting too much emphasis on handling, even if the car is not designed for spoty-driving. I've also read that a lot of complaints are directed at these magazines/websites on the fact that if other manufacturers besides the Germans made cars that are firm-riding, then it's a very big minus for them smile_blackeye.gif

Anyway, it's also true that a Citroen should ride like a Citroen. I am wondering why Citroen had not used their hydropneumatic suspensions on the DS5 and DS4....the high-tech nature of the suspension would suit these cars perfectly smile_thumbup.gif

actually...its not only autocar and whatcar...in fact all reviews on the ds5 seem to criticize its harsh suspension...usually hard suspension results in better handling but that's not the case again...i wonder what the engineers were thinking...they should go back to their roots of building beautiful comfortable cars...not sports cars...anyway...has anybody seen citroen c6 in malaysia? heard there are only 7 sold here

saw a grey C6 in Bangsar.. smile_thumbup.gif

those who buys Citroens don't care about handling (except those car reviewers), they want the magic carpet ride.

Recently PSA and Renault are all trying to be German, with taut handling and firm ride. It's good to copy the Germans on quality but it's bad to lose the "french car comfort"..

I know that the newer hydropneumatic suspension systems are reliable with proper servicing, so maybe the engineers are abandoning it due to manufacturing costs. If i were Citroen, i would keep the hydropneumatic suspension and the hub-centre steering. Their newer cars doesn't come with these wonders anymore sad.gif

c6 is one of the last great citroens...certainly it will become a future classic...saw it in showroom in melaka years ago...guess it never sold...then again it did not sell well worldwide...but that could lead to it being a future classic...I'm excited with the NAZA takeover...wonder when will it be finalised....I'm sure with the announcement of the news NAZA will launch one or two new models in conjunction with the event...DS5??

Is true-'What Car' reviews are more oriented to family friendly cars - they are more interested if your car has a big enough glove box compartment for example.
Its a matter of priority. EVO UK gives the thumbs up for the DS4 for its sporty & taut handling but 'What car' complained about the DS4 firm ride.

Knowing Naza i think they will bring in the DS5. Just look at the range of 508 engines they brought in!

guys, in fact, i am worried about Naza's takeover.

I am having the "misfortune" of buying both my cars from Naza (one Chevy and one new Pug recently), the service Naza is providing is terrible. Look at all the posts in this forum complaining about them.

They are experts at promoting and selling their cars, but most of their mechanics are clueless. Take, for example, the famous PSA-BMW Prince engine issue (superknock). They have no idea on how to resolve it. This engine is excellent, winning many awards. But uneducated, undertrained and uninterested mechanics spoiled it.

Hope they will buck up, quickly smile_disapprove.gif

Try selling it at the Peugeot thread. Tons more 308s than DS4/C4s here..
