Dear Kristof,

When do we use the SAT button ? is it during climbing steep road or can we use it during traffic jam ? please advise.

SAT is introduced to have quicker bachshifts when full throttle, more sporty driving in other words. It can be used anytime no matter what condition

I still prefer normal D for smoothness, L/S mode for sporty mode.

kristof, is there any impact if we always use L/S for aggressive drive?? CVT belting teeth will damage?

Hi Kristof,

Really appreciate your effort to be with us here, good to know we have an expert to refer to.

I have a habit of shifting to N while waiting for traffic light. Is that a bad habit? Or which one is better - leaving it in D or shifting to N when stopping at traffic light.

BTW I really enjoy by EB and the CVT is really pleasant after passing the 40km/h except some occasion of engine dip/jerking (experience 3x the engine die off in 1.5month) upon reversing or going forward.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Kristof,

Just to follow up have Punch & Proton came out with the solution on the sluggishness on the engine kick back ? Secondly I experience several times on my new Exora CFE bold on the engine tends to die off when switching from forward to reverse and vv with 1 experience the engine actually died off and need to be restart. Please advise.

Lim KB

I also experienced once yesterday, from D to R, the engine cut off in 1/2 second and come back again. Dear kristof, please do let me know if the proton releasing the new throttle mapping and engine tuning for the above issues. I want to update the software. thanks.

Hi, want to ask something regarding the Proton Preve CFE... Is it a normal condition for the car to feel slugging when the car almost come to full stop or this is something goes wrong to the gear box?
