Considering a people mover. Tried a Grandis and found the drive really comfortable but not so pleased with the dated engine technology compared to the Touran or S-Max but I found the pricing and 3 year all in maintenance and 5 year warranty tempting.

No experience with MPVs before but am comparing this with Estima and Alphard. Pity its all grey imports so in my mind Mitsu has a better image though I see so few on the road. Any Mistubishi forumers with Grandis who can share problems or opinions?

I saw Alphard with hood up last week on emergency lane. I olso seen Estima acr50 stranded in Klang lama. I was told do not trust reconds!

Touran look like premium mpv. I saw one bronze colour yesterday. So nice and fast. But rm162,000 is not cheap .

Grandis is quite narrow inside with old kenwood sound.

It is really a cool response MPV. Hardly see it on the road. Mitsubitshi's marketing strategy really far behind Japanese big 3.

In Japan was discontinued and produced only for export...not for local (japan) market....

Are they still producing? No right? Mitsu Malaysia not selling also.
I am thinking of getting a 2009 model. Not sure if that is a good idea.

My elder brother own a mitsubishi grandis 2.4 year make 2004(recon) and registered is Jan 2009. In Jan 2012, he moved to Dubai and left the car with my parent( my father just help to maintain this car). He offered me to continue pay the car rm800 a month and 25k downpayment for another 56 months. After that, the car will be mine. The question is, is the offer is value for money as total cost of the car for me is only RM70k? Do you expect any major problem for the next 4 and a half year? As I just an entry level for this kind of vehicle type, does this Grandis will burden me or actually a good platform for me to learn more on MPV in the cheaper cost.
