20-30 years ago, even if a person ride a bicycle without lights on at night, will be booked by police.

But now, motorbike running red light or riding without headlamps/tail light even in front of police vehicles, nothing happen. Same goes to the cars with broken lights (be it single working headlamps or faulty rear lights). Plus, the really terror one is those cars without any brake lights functioning (all 3 brake lights are out, that one really waiting to get smacked by a trailer/lorry).

Got 1 time i saw that even with police patrol car (Waja) behind on fast lane in MEX highway, it won't deter a d**khead driver in a white Myvi to cut right in front of a police car at behind without signalling. Really lucky as that police car didn't flash it's blue light on the roof (plus using loudhailer <car reg. number>, Myvi warna putih, sila berhenti kat tepi) to signal that d**khead Myvi driver to stop at the left side of the road.

you are so right...during that time (30 years ago)..a basikal to carry rear passager also consider traffic offence..but now a motorsikal to carry 4 passagers passing through traffic polis, the authoritiers also one eye open n one eye close..

this bastard tailed us for almost 15mins in serdang .. kept his distance but i know

but my "Higher Up" warned me to let it slide and do nothing
that he'll be taken care of by Him smile_tongue.gif

few nights ago, a gray myvi driven by a girl forced her way out of a one way street onto the MEX, going head to head at right angles against a hyundai accent .. almost caused an accident but didn't bother to at all

Car-lorry collision kills two friends

JITRA: Two friends travelling to Haadyai, Thailand, were killed in a collision involving their car and a lorry during a downpour at km21.8 of the North-South Expressway here.

A worker of highway maintenance company Propel Bhd said he saw the car skidding and spinning several times before crashing into the lorry in the 11.15am incident yesterday.

The victims were identified as Khaw Chun Seong, 21, from Simpang Empat, Alor Setar, and Lye Guang Shong, 25, from Bukit Mertajam, Penang.

The two, who were credit card agents with a bank in Kuala Lumpur, died of severe injuries at the scene.
Grisly scene: Chun Seong’s father Khaw Siak Chuan, 52, (second from left) looking at the wreckage at KM21.8 of the North-South Expressway heading north to Bukit Kayu Hitam at Kubang Pasu in Kedah. Kee Kim Ngaung, 60, who lives nearby, said he heard a loud bang and rushed to the site.

“I recognised Khaw's name from a notebook inside the car and realised he was the son of a friend.

“I called his father to tell him of the accident,” he said, when met at the Jitra Hospital mortuary.

He added that another accident occurred at the same place on Tuesday but the victim escaped with minor injuries.

Kubang Pasu OCPD Supt Ibrahim Mohamed Yusof said the lorry was parked by the roadside while Propel workers were doing maintenance work at the metal railing there.

He said the bodies of the victims were sent to the Jitra Hospital for a post-mortem.

Ha ha. This morning a kelisa was tailing me at 130km/hr on fast lane. When I presses pedal, sorry, let u makan habuk!
Usually only a fast (usually luxury car) car dare to tail so close to other. This stupid small yet slow car dare to do that! Does he/she manage to brake emergency? No need to bother as this type of people is brainless. They do not even border what car that they are driving!
