hi all the nissan sifu, after reading so many nice story abt b14, it make my heart gatal a bit..., the other day i saw a b14 yr99 which has just done 90K+ km, in good condition, selling at RM16K, well, i plan to let go of my yr03 waja which also still in reasonable condition, do u guys think that it's wise decision?

the reason i thinking to change car is for cheaper FC & maintenance, also plan to use it until my retirement age which is abt 18 yrs from now, a bit worry waja can't last that long, so hope nissan can make it as many had said jap car have much longer life span.

thanks a lot.

waja is abt 9.5km/L for my city drive, i suppose b14 should get higher than that, right?

also hv been hearing parts in nissan can last longer & more reliable than Malaysia car, although can be bit higher in the cost, but at least save me time from visiting my mechanic friend so often.

that's why i need advice from b14 sifu if the above "fact" true or not? thanks.......... laugh.gif

i thought b14 can do better than 9.5?

my 9 year old waja didn't give much problem at the engine side, just recently some parts gave way already as their life span is up, past 12 months have changed fuel pump, mounting (4 pc), radiator tank cover, clutch & it's pumps, next may need to replace it's condenser as suspecting air cond gas leaking at that area...., same thing can happen to japanese car too, right? but i guess theirs can last longer.

actually the real concern is how long can the waja last, compare to b14, if both under proper care, can sifu share some insight?

Dun buy old car. Running out of spare parts especially old model like B14. I looked for ages for a replacement Brake booster. The Tan Chong Workshop in Ipoh wished me "Good Luck".
