definitely sportage if i were to choose.

like that tucson hard to sell. They definitely give more discount to push their sales.

bros........i'm also experiencing rattling noise fr the rear boot....how to solve?

One fine day when I sent my car for service, I decided to test drive the Tucson. During the drive I heard some rattling noise from the back and told the sales person. She said no noise so I drove on longer route and deliberately over uneven road. The noise was not laud but audible to me whose hearing is not so good (old man already) and I pin pointed the noise to sales person. Then she was shocked that there were rattling noise cos the test drive car was supposed to have been throughly checked by Hyundai technicians to be on tip top condition.

Lesson learned - Hyundai's cars (many models) has got this rattling noise problem which has not been addressed either Hyundai Korea or Hyundai Malaysia. And my experience has told me that Hyundai don't really take seriously their 5 years warranty or 300K km claims.

Really disappointed with Hyundai. That's why I was not excited when they announced the launching of Elentra, Veloster or any other models, even though I am still looking for a replacement car for a very old Protong.

Hi all I'm letting go my Tucson 2.4 white Dec 2010.
Location pg.
K&n filter, eagle projector eyes, Korean fog lamp cover and special dash cover witb28" rim.
Mileage only 30k. Sms 0124487777

The Tucson 2.4 already tuned high + dual VVT yet you still install K&N filter? Mind tell me any difference after installing that filter? My guess consume more FC, engine would rev harder and exhaust, did you keep the original muffler? Please let me know whether my guess is correct.

Car modifications, for any make, if you altered the air intake to take in more air, make sure the exhaust system has enough pressure to release the exhaust gas out. Or else, it'll choke the engine causing it to loose torque aka pulling power despite the output horsepower increased. End result will get carbon build up behind the valve for MPI injection and engine will get early leakage.

I can tell you that majority local Ah Beng modify workshop don't have any technical knowledge yet most of them don't even own nor know how to operate the air pressure reading diagnostic tool. Don't even know how to calculate pressure yet cincai make air intake and big exhaust tubes + straight through muffler would end up losing much pressure.

YES , some of us experiencing the irritating sound , but it will just take u or the technician 20 minutes to solve it with just one screw driver ! Sorry guy , I can't recall which page of it we discussed , why don't u guy spend some time go check it out..cheers !

I am about to buy a tucson 2012, getting an offer of rebate 4k, smart tag+toun n go+fulltank+carpet+security tint. going for a black colour.

Is this a good offer? Please suggest.

Also, anyone knows whats the difference between 2011 and 2012 Tucson models, as the discount on the 2011 model seems to be more.

I just bought a Hyundai Tucson 2.0 High Spec. I am quite happy with the car but I noticed that fuel consumption is very high. I am getting like 13.5 to 14 for town driving. Is this normal?
