Naza SC are really damn expensive.

I was quoted around Rm380 and Rm300 for replacing my front and rear brake pad. I declined as my 2 year warranty is up and went to my neighbourhood tyre shop and did it for less than Rm250 (front and rear korean made brake pad) .

Really don't feel like going back to them for oil change service anymore....

thats normal lor...i think all sc also charge like that...

NAZA is a produce of our Bodoh-Wee (ex-PM). Because of him, the ex-Minister of Trade & Industry (MITI) gave free APs to generate $$$ only favoring NAZA. Better word is money laudering.

Now with the flourising biz, this company turn into "blood ######". It was also a very old story that many motorist would not touch KIA or NAZA related brand due to Tan Sri SM's infamous trade ethics...if you understand the host of problems during Kia Spectra time.

BEST is don't touch that brand or even Peugort. If you are holding one such car, suggest you consider trade-in to either Toyota, Nissan, etc to lessen the agony and move on.

sugen, as chinese idioms saying "Tian siah wu yah yi yang hei", (Birds of a feather flock together) the result will be the same. Anyway I've send an article to Malay Mail via email, see if they dare to publish it or not.

To Rondorian, beware of Naza whenever they quote the price, especially rare part, they slaughter you till last drop of blood.

Hoprfully Malay Mail will highlight our plight on Kia vechicle, no second hand value and now hit by the crazy sparepart price!

adusss....mahal nye... how to prevent that from happen....at least can prepare first... smile_shock.gif

easy.

change compressor oil every 30-40,000km. because, they spin as fast as engine.. if engine doing 3,000rpm, compressor also the same.

many people overlook on this matter.

after so long never change oil, it gets dirty. or vaporised. easy reason for compressor to jam.

but for magnetic clutch... that has nothing to do with maintenance. if rosak.. need to change. if lucky, separate with compressor. if not lucky, it is complete assembly.

Hi Sugen,

Double check my bill and saw that I forgot to include the Rm20 workmanship. So total is Rm260 instead of Rm250. Not sure what brake pad they gave me, only see (Hi-Q) TJ on the receipt. But still way much cheaper than Naza. The only thing I like going Naza for servicing my car is the free car wash while Toyota charge you Rm12!!

Yup, not sure what brand they gave me, but confirmed is Rm120 per set for both front and rear. Maybe it is a cheap korean brand....

Where do you maintain your air conds and how long have your compressors lasted?

Hi all,

After knowing bro okwaja's plight, I also got worried about my air con and decided to send it for servicing. My ride is 08 and now slightly over 50k kms. Went to a reputable outlet at JB and requested for compressor oil change and refrigerant recover/recharge; however the mech told me if changing the oil totally he will need to dismantle the compressor so I gave a pass on this. Usually a top up will be okay as the oil gets lesser with use. Also, the interval for servicing is around 30k kms according to denso schedule.

So end up with change of dryer (need to dismantle and clean condenser that is in front of the radiator), vacuuming of gas and full recharge of r134a. Then followed by top up the compressor with a little cylinder of about 150ml through the inlet port. Not really what I had expected but guess better than no servicing! smile_tongue.gif Strangely though but when I told him pag46 oil for compressor he didn't understand at all.. told me its either r12 or r134a oil. Oh well... haha!

Damage is slightly over rm200.. for a piece of mind. Hope this will keep the system running a little longer. My sharing..
