I just bought Glaco Fusso Glass Treatment to try it out. As usual I thoroughly cleaned the glass with white LC pad, RB and DG 755 Nu Glass. Application was simple just apply on glass, let it haze for 10mins then buff. I suggest you shake the bottle before application to disperse any settled PFTE in the bottle.

So here is my 2 cents. I found that application was easy and found the product easy to spread compared to the normal Glaco Glass Treatment (orange bottle). After it has hazed i found this Fusso version very easy to buff. I just used a dry kitchen towel and that was it. It dries to a white powder. I presume that is the PTFE. I don't think the PTFE does much except for easy application and removal as PTFE won't stick on glass. This product i would say is the easiest product to buff and remove of all glass treatments that I have used. It doesn't streak and it isn't oily which normally needs a wet cloth or kitchen towel to remove the hazing or oily streaks we normally get with the other Rain X type of formulations.

The glass feels smooth but not oily type of slick like the other rain x treatments. I did a second coat just to ensure proper coverage.

Performance: As compared to the Glaco orange, this fusso is not a "slick" for the water beads. The water starts to move at a higher speed. The Glaco orange start to move at about 45-50km/h and this fusso version starts to move at about 55-60km/h. I also noticed that the water beads doesn't make a nice "tail" when streaming down the glass. As a water bead starts to gather more water down the glass its "tail" starts to get longer. Half way down the glass the Fusso coating being not a slick makes the water beading "tail" start to break up into smaller water beads. But once the car gets past 60km/h water beading is more or less the same with other products.

Durability: We will see how it goes.

Conclusion: Beading performance reasonable. You can get the same performance at a lesser price. Unsure of durability as yet. For a cheaper price and better beading performance can get the Glaco orange or other treatments. So why buy this Fusso version? Easy application and best of all EASY removal and not oily, might be more durable but don't know as yet.

Use wipers then like normal lah. But some people have said that it doesn't cause juddering or at least it does reduce it compared to other glass treatments. But you should really remove the old glass treatment by using machine polishing and glass polish to get the glass to stick a sheet of water on the glass. I'm never a believer or just "cleaning" glass then apply glass treatments. It doesn't show true character of the product and true durability of a product as the product cannot bond properly with the glass is you do not completely remove the old glass treatment.

What's the catch? Doing by hand is almost impossible to completely remove the old glass treatment. You need a glass polish (like DG Nu Glass or Osren's glass polish) with RB.

The juddering I had when using the rubber wipers. Now on silicone ones, no more. Even if have, very slight only if glass a bit dry. And the slick effect is still there as water still flies off. If use rubber wipers, almost weekly got to apply the rain X and so on.

I find Glaco Orange and PIAA Silicone refill the best combo. Super slick and last long. 40-45km/h also start to move already the water. Provided water bead is reasonable big and glass was preped properly b4 application.

But addition of silicone wiper with glass treatment almost never need to add new coat of glass treatment once done. Only thing is need to redo because glass gets dirty and so need a fresh coat. Not that the effect wears away.

Those on a budget just buy silicone wiper and get natural hydrophobic effect from oils released from the silicone wiper.

Refill is Ithink from rm35-50. The full wiper is expensive. So I only always buy the refill. Nobody knows you using PIAA so nobody will steal also.
