Maybe nobody dare to go to Naza to do their service for Captiva? I dare not!!!
Hope they have trained mechanic, as captivas are very sensitive car and too much electronics parts?

Now you are doing 40K service - I suggest you check with them or booked with them to buy a set of timing belt kit & water pump kit, and stock up for your 60K kms service and replacement - or you may be faced with running with an overrunned timing belt - not just blow blow job (like the air cond filter) - Hope they did not do it like you said.

Just my 2 cts.

Too much hassle owing a Captiva with no parts available. Luckily for me has contact with Naza n Chevrolet guys to bring in parts. Even that took a while for things to move, so i may be selling off my Captiva soon.

Ya me too, GM personal to ketuk on Laza to bring in parts, must really put effort to them to get it in - actually there are parts in the newly appointed small fries 1S SC located in small tiny shoplots premises byut dare you pass your baby for them to service and repair ? Change engine oil - ok lah.

ya, maybe I agreed, if they dont pull up their sock, so now waiting for a good one to come up at price below 200k - A good potential one on my list is the new maybe 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe diesel, still dont like the present facelift model, still too korean looks!

Cheers!

Is it really scarce to get parts for any Chevy vehicles? It looks like you need to import directly from north america before you can make the truck running smoothy again.

Amerca dont have this model. If this SUV is from America, I will not buy it, with their gas guzzing big good for nothing engine. It is assembled from Thailand, Motori engine form Italy, Aishin gear box from Japan, Bosch Fuel injector from Bosch Germany.
The problem of no parts are due to the franchise holder who do not bring them in and during our warranty time, we can out source all the parts but during warranty? why should we pay? from our own pocket and also they will void the warranty, Also, they dont have good experienced service personal to do a good job, (all are 1/2 past six and inexperienced POMEN !!!! - all because of Naza, Good SUV!!! Anyway mine warranty going to expire soon and the nightmare is gone, with parts and found a good Pomen.
