If you are cleaning loose dirt off lug nut, can try paint brush or bottle brush. The bristle on paint brush or bottle brush may not be at the optimal stiffness and length but can still get the job done, and they are easily available. From your pic, you will likely need a stiffer brush to agitate the dirt, follow by some polishing.

If cleaned weekly should be easy to remove. Once dried on too long then may need stronger solution also.....

Bristles are longer, so less chances of scratching, but back fling is more....
Sorry to bring up old topic bro...
Where did you get the long blue brush? Can't find it OTC...If got can you tell me which store (jusco, tesco etc) and location (car care, house care etc)
Interested in getting one that is long and slender...what I can only find is short and fat, very difficult to clean inbetween the brake calipers and rims since the gap is small.

The long blue one was given to me from bro. krismas. I think he bought it from his hometown some time back.
The long bristles have it's disadvantage too. It flings the shampoo towards you when pulling it outwards....

Recycle mah! Instead of buying some other bottles, the spray fits nicely on this bottle so just fill up with car shampoo....

You clean the wheel or car? For wheel some are just too short to reach inside. For car, sponge can pick up tiny pebbles that can actually scratch the paint.....
