How many 12V power outlets are there in the M8 besides the cigarette lighter? Don't tell me there's none... Even the Inokom Matrix has 2!

Dear all,

Just got the M8. Zoom zoom! One question, I noticed that the GPS software is Papago X5 (with Pioner AVH-P4350DVD), which is not supported anymore (no more update of map). Is there going to be an upgrade for Papago for us? Any ideas?

congrate smopuim.... welcome to m8 family.... smile_cool.gif

Thank you all for the warm welcome. One more thing, for those who consider upgrading to Papago X8, I noticed the system is not as responsive as X5. Your choice now, maintaining the smoothness of X5 or the ability to continuously update your map.

Hi, I planning to get m8 as well..... Is contemplating between estima 2007/6 cos cost almost the same.

I am from Ipoh and the Sa told me they have 2011 stock with discount though he didn't want to tell me the discount yet.

How about you?? Did you get good discount? Yours is 2011 or 2012 model?

Hi Bro tanauto, contemplating between a Estima and M8, dont think twice. See the forum and all of us also think like you but we never look back once we are an owner of M8.

If u can squeeze a discount, then it will be good. 2011 and 2012, the car looks the same. No difference or facelift.

Tq for reply.

Reasons why I still contemplating........

don't like M8:

3rd row seat very narrow n cannot slide to front/back
Pick up so so...... ( yes I know this is a MPV but pick up just unacceptable to me)
Reverse camera quality is bad (it is aftermarket accessories rather factory fitted with guide)

Yes, I know the pros are:

Brand new.....
3 yrs warranty wit free service
Otto seats are cool

Dilemma....... Dilemma.........

Hope don't get bashing from allmu proud M8 owners.

Bro Mean,

Unfortunately, you're correct.... M8 only has ONE 12V power outlet.... it's a very disappointing fact. Well, you get some, you loose some... especially when the ride is under RM200K, something has to be left out... like extra 12V outlets, cruise control and ect.

Cheers!!
