Hiya,
Last saturday collect the car @ kg baru showroom after almost 2 months of waiting. Its 2012 pearl white altis. Happy with the service of Toyota Kg Baru. Also, heard from the salesgirl that they gonna run promo on Camry (both 2011 & 2012) very soon. A good discount.
Fuel consumption on the altis is good (i guess) coz normal cruising on highway @ 80km/h will consume not more than 5L per 100km based on the info meter. NVH is better than my previous Nissan as well. Thinking of doing the sound proofing at the wheel arch area later at kl auto.
Overal.....hoping to enjoy the car for the next good 5 years, at least.
Tahniah krn dah jadi ahli keluarga ALTIS, Altis memang best,... saya punya dah lebih dari setahun, beli pada 19.12.2010, dah service utk 30,000 km dan mungkin dua bulan lagi kena service utk 40,000km, tiada masalah langsung, minyak memang cukup jimat, pemanduan ke tempat kerja jalan biasa boleh dpt 14.3 km/l Ron 95 Shell , ulang alik sejauh 100 km sehari, pergi dan balik dari tempat kerja, tak rasa penat langsung. purata kelajuan 90 - 100 km/j. Cuma saya punya Altis 2.0V. Mungkin 1.8G boleh dapat lebih jimat lagi....

Assuming what you meant is 14.3L/100km, I don't think that's actually 'cukup menjimatkan' kategori. :-)

You don't think it is "Cukup Menjimatkan ? That is because you have wrongly assumed !
He said 14.3 km / ltr which mean he get 14.3km of distance for every liter of fuel, (100/14.3 = 6.99) which mean about 7ltr/100km, Faham ?
Now it is "Cukup Menjimatkan"

Well, if it's really 14.3km/L then I admit it, my mistake. Unless it was re-edited ( no way for me to proof) from the original entry which was 14.3L/km which didn't make sense to me in the first place, so that's why I assumed, otherwise no need to assume if the units are put correctly in place. I was just trying to be polite in pointing out. Cheers.

He can only edit his original posting, once you reply his posting, it would be on top of your posting which he can't edit, then the original posting will be different from the one attached to yours, that is also what i assumed lah. Cheerios !

yup, contacted him thru email already...will definitely pay him a visit then
Bout the add'l tinting to the car...
So far i can bear the quality of the ori premium toyota tint. My previous ride cost me rm2k for a premium rike cool rc-10 sumthing (cant remember already..) of which i reserved my complaints on the quality of heat rejection.
I was advised to put only an ordinary quality of window tint and to look after a safety tint. Anyway...as mentioned, i dont have any plan yet to tint my window.
