If I changed tyres to 17 inch, is it going to make my car prone to potholes and more noise?

Well, I'm on 18" wheels with 225/45 rubbers....
Is that Good or Bad?

if 17, its almost no difference in appearances only slightly better in handling and slightly cheaper tyres than 18 .
Besides that u need to get a good rims for safety as most out there are replicas .get 18 for better control but noisier of course and if u worried of damage etc get the lancer's 18's ori rims.

I changed to 17" rim with tyres 225/50.
Feel a bit heavy but better handling!!
