That is your perception. To me, 3-5 min per bus is fine. If the bus gets jammed along that road (until Mid Valley), it'll waste 10-20 minutes, which is a lot for a bus to keep on schedule. The bus lanes are only for certain stretch that is heavy traffic or jammed up, it doesn't need to be entire stretch. Imagine if close off 1 full lane for Federal Highway all the way to Port Klang. With this short stretch, you already start jumping

We do have a choice. That is to drive now, and keep driving. But I do hope whichever government to lead in future, will start to free-float the petrol price, implement ERP and higher parking charges in KL CBD.

Free float fuel price is the way to go, we are burning away black gold daily no thks to Dr M 80' Potong policy that encourage subsidised cheap fuel to subsidised Potong. Crude oil reserved only slightly more than 5 yrs before we become net importer of course if no major discovery. 40% of gomen spending from crude oil. Just be prepared when tap runs dry.

Cutting subsidies you need to provide option for people eg good public transport. Of course, many who can afford will never feel what's like for man on the street, keep burning as if no tomorrow.

The purpose of bus lanes, is to implement at jam/heavy traffic area (whether cars/buses), so as to allow buses unobstruct traffic to keep on schedule. If there area are not jammed, there is no particular need for bus lanes.

It's always a chicken and egg situation, improve public transport before increase fuel/parking/etc. and vice versa. Like you say, since the petrol is so cheap (subsidised!) everyone just keep complain but still drive on the road.

Remember few years back when petrol price jump from RM1.80 -> RM2.70 (for Ron95) ? Nearly everyone was complaining (not me though), but after 2 weeks, same amount of cars and jam in KL CBD roads. Therefore, RM2.70 for petrol is a price that is fair enough.
However, for kampung folks, the price may be overkill for them.

Police wave and ask you to use then can use but must be careful.
I remember one time jam on highway to north, official wave and ask to use emergency lane so most use, but after a long stretch further up, police was catching emergency lane user. Their answer, further down the police ask to use, but not further up.....

not only kampung folks...me also affected big time....even tough i'm a daily kapcai rider....when price hike rm2.70 it is even worse for me....

If in kampong and they have few acres of rubber or palm oil plantation, is sap sap sui for them, if they wants can even use a Land CRusier V8 to drive to round their estate. Many urban professionals earning 10k above also went back to take over their family plantation business.

True also lah. In thing to own & work as rubber tappers in the near future. Better ride a care free kapcai in just a few acres of rubber estate compare with driving a BM/MB in Klang Valley mad traffic. One loaded with cash the latter loaded with debts. Few acres of palm oil might not be enough though.

Unfortunately, I have encountered such drivers for several times. Its just as dangerous as drunken driving.

kapchai also affect that much ? Parking free or RM1 only. Petrol 1 full tank ~RM5-6 I can go ~150km+

Car 150km+ need at least > 10-15L = RM15-20+

Not sure how many acres is considered enough, but kampung life more care free, lower standard. I know a cousin, they don't drive big new cars, more of old Nissan Van, can use for business, can go into estate to carry fruits etc., and so on, run a kopi tiam also, but they are doing well but with long hours put in.....
