Hi guys,
I own a 2008 Toyota Prado 3.0 Turbo Diesel Auto. If I can make the following improvements to it, I would consider keep it longer (instead of replacing it with newer 4x4):
1. NVH - I find my it rather noisy. I believe KL Auto help to reduce the NVH. Any other option ?
2. Add Reverse Camera (and side, front as well?) - I've no problem parking the car, but with camera(s) it should be much easier and safer. Any recommendations / views ?
3. More Power - to give the effortness driving experience.

Any advice, recommendations and constructive views are very welcome.
Thank you.

if the engine is a "modern common rail" turbo diesel, remap or chip it or just add piggy back plug and play tuning box, will give you another 20-30% power in hp and nm (believe your present 3.0 engine, with the heavy body is still slow and not good for you yet)

Mine is the normal turbo diesel engine (not common rail) - KZ engine.

What's the fuel consumption?

I prefers to use my head than follow the crowd. After all, it is my money and not theirs.

I'm very happy with the consumption. Full (~68 ltrs) tank get me 500+ km majority town driving.

Regarding reverse camera, recently also check v 1 4x4 shop near Sunway around $400 incl installation. Quite resonable nowadays, believe normal auto shop can offer even lower.

Wow, quite a fuel guzzler. If running on petrol easily 20-30% more. smile_tongue.gif

Running the truck on ethanol or LPG would greatly reduce fuel cost! But the conversion would take a lot of money but in terms of fuel savings you can have at least 30 percent less.
