Hi All

how much engine oil would be required for service for the Bighorn 1998 3 litre turbu 4JX1 engine. I am told that there are 2 filters required to be changed as well. Could you please advise? I am in New Zealand.

The 4JX1 engines were never officially sold in Malaysia so you are not likely to get any answer to your question here. Sorry. But from my limited understanding, that engine is super particular on what sort of engine oil you should use.

Yes correct. Good quality diesel engine oil.

See so simple.

From what I read, good quality is not enough. It must be the EXACT right viscosity for this engine.
