Based on the may pics I see, mostly the unit is double sided-taped to something. When you take it out during your regular service (for those who took it out anyway... ), won't it leave a mark? And, if yes, does the mechanics ask you about them?
Just wanted to check as I dun want to give them a reason to tell me that they will void the warranty...

I have serviced the car WITH the unit remaining in the engine bay. I even showed it to the service manager when I sent my car in and explained its function. No issues as it only deals with the battery lifespan and not attached to any other electrical circuits

No diff in battery life nor driving. That money better spend for ron97. U get more punch!
