dear forumer,

1st of all let me clarified, Forte is one of the best car to drive and this car NEVER give me headace at all, everyday just pump the fuel, and drive away from shah alam to seremban, seremban JB, Singapore bla bla bla...im doing sales BTW.i feel i need extra power to go here and there...2nd i do not plan to sell my car, i just want to pass the car to my wife. my humble choice will be

1.sonata YF 2.4
2.Hilux 3.0/Triton 3.2 (i really like it cause its ez for me to sent items to my customer, selling durian, rambutan, and the list goes on)

i realise that the ride i choice is in diffrent category but im buying car not because of the resaling value im buying them becase of the what it is used for...but of course if i drive a sonata i cannot sell durian, rambutan and hantar barang to my customer lah!
a new hope...

Hi DSAI,

Whatever you do, just do not simply change the exhaust and air intake with modified version. This applies to any car brand and makes >> the air intake and exhaust, you need to have certain pressure.

If you let those dunno physics yet do not have guide from professional/manufacturer would end up trapping air either in the exhaust or engine from the higher pressure air intake. Will end up getting power loss, more thirsty FC, risk engine overheating and engine would wear up faster. Many Ah Beng experienced this without their knowledge.

Not bad going for 4x4. If you could wait, please wait for the new Ranger. I hope you will get it then tell me story about it. More new pickups are launching next year, longer you wait, more choice you have. smile_big.gif

Oh, it's nice.

Go for a test drive yourself. It doesn't cost money. smile_wink.gif

love :-

1. the power (well couldnt compare with golf tsi or focus tdci)
2. 6 speed..gear change very smoothly
3. interior, quite well build (much better looking den boring jetta)
4. safely...edequate air bag n those edb tcs watelse
5. white is real nice
6. 5 yrs unlimited warranty but when i ask d SA what it mean by 5 yrs unlimited warranty, cannot answer me (my blm is over 3 yrs but with 5 yrs warranty, 2 yrs under insurance..when i want to claim water pump, said not included WTF!!!)
7. anyway if i get this, i will hv at least 5 yrs unlimited warranty, no worry on gb or engine
8. what else??? oya..back seat is big enough for my family to travel (thats wat stop me from getting ford tdci hatch n i dont like sedan backside)

dont like :-

1. i find steering feeling too light when vehicle slow down, no gradual lightness of steering (hope u understand what i meant)
2. damn!!! 1st time i wrote so long in forum smile_cool.gif

Ya, get the 2.0 if you can.

The cabin is spacious and airy. This is the first time in many years I am driving a sedan on a daily basis. I was driving the Focus and then the Pug 308T, both hatchbacks.

The Forte will feel like a limousine compared with your Proton BLM. I'm not saying the Proton is bad but it is just so old tech.

My initial beef with the Forte is the light steering, but driving in the city most of the time I am beginning to appreciate it. It makes the car so maneuverable in stop/start and heavy traffic conditions.

I was at Glenmarie this afternoon. As I drove past Naza Kia I saw them unloading several units of the Forte from a carrier. Maybe one of the units will be yours.

Cheers. smile_big.gif
