Well, my 2 cents are as follows:
1) C-class - the facelifted one with 7 speed gearbox has been much improved, but it still isn't a performance car unless C250 or above...
2) PCC - well the price just went up by 30k and is now officially
OVERpriced at RM270k, good car nonetheless (I am driving one), a real comfort cruiser with power whenever you want it.
3) Audi A4 - agree with Mikhai, only the 2.0T is good, but unfortunately those Euromobil smart-alecks prices it at RM310k.
4) 3 series - the new model F30 just launched, this car has been overwriting everything in its category since the last few models .... even the outgoing E90 has been class leading so far after 5 years....
so if you can wait for another 6 months or so ... might as well be this car, the one and only .... BMW 3 Series:

Hi, I am a Passat B6 owner here.
I have tested PCC 4-5 mths ago when I went with a friend who was in a hunt between C-class and PCC. This friend of mine ended up increase his budget to go for E250! Coz C250 7 spd was not available then.
From my point of view, F30 is still in unknown land and once launch in Malaysia, the first year you will expect a lot of problem with the car. Just like what the F10 5 series owners are facing now, suspension sound, engine sudden death are the 2 main issues.
So, if you can't wait till 2013 for a stable F30, then you will have to choose between the remaining choice.
Actually if I am to choose, I will go for C250 instead. Bump up the financing a bit more, and you will be rewarded with a very nice car. Although I am a VW owner, but I always admire a RWD car. It's much more stable on high speed (after 180kph) than a FWD car.
A4 is good, the 2.0 T 4WD version. But the tradeoff is that you will inevitably suffer from slightly higher fuel consumption because there are a lot more moving parts to move the car. And the driving is less spirited to be honest, too much safety control so less play. That's why A4/A5 RS always lose to M3 in comparo (in megazine).
If there was no price increase of RM30k on PCC, PCC will be a clear winner. Now.......probably not coz C250 is only a little bit more but will reward you with a very good steering feel, better handling due to RWD, probably more comfortable and lastly, STRONG second value.
Actually in 2 yrs time when it's my time to change the current car (Passat B6), I am aiming either C250 or F30 turbo 328
