How about u check it with NAZA KIA SC?

My is a 08 model and having the same problem. If this is a manufacturing defects, we ought to write-in to NAZA Kia as group to appeal for a mass call-in for parts replacement.

Hey, all Rondonians, we should make a joint claim from both Naza Kia Malaysia & C.C to Kia Motors Korea for this so call partial global recall of rear absorber problem. We are the consumers & were left out in this manufacturer design flaw. How about this ?

Is not absorber problem.. Just the assembly bracket. Who want to take this lead to collect/gatherer all rondorian that have this problem.. Especially those 08,09 owner.. Not sure is 2010, 2011 is fitted with new redesign assembly bracket.. Need to SC to confirm this, by opening up Rondo 2011 model to check..

Bro Sugen since you already discover the solutions for this issue and also you have
the part numbers so that is easier for SC to troubleshoot.

My suggestions is for you to lead us with this for all owners and feedback to CMD or Kia Malaysia
and before we actually go about 101% accuracy you need to try out for at least 1 month before
we conclude otherwise if the sound returns then it will be another cause.

What say the rest of owners and lets starts the ball rolling..

Hi Sugen,

I am also beginning to notice that irritating knocking sound from that area. My Rondo is just 2 years old only. Cannot tahan the noise, just increase radio volume to drown it out smile_angry.gif

Hope we can find a way to resolve this as I doubt if Naza will be bothered with this problem.

Hi Dieselmarc,
I am happy that the issue has been resolved by changing the mentioned part... After near a month of usage.. There is no more sound.. So, it is confirm that the sound is came from the parts mentioned as so call "design defect" by others forumers..

Dear Sugen,

I've notice that the parts you bought is Hyundai parts. The picture from the link in China is Kia parts. The part no. is the same though. I've search the internet, the part number belong to Hyundai not Kia. It is for Hyundai Azera GLS.

A NazaKia agent check the Kia online spares and there is no indication that the absorber mounting has been replace with a new one.

Does this mean the mounting is from Hyundai, does it fit our Rondo, if so than we can search for Hyundai parts here. Online price for the parts is about US65.00.
