btw just stop by at proton show room, the FLx package very tempting and the rate also good for proton at 2.9% only.

last time FL interest rate also same mah..

driving FL almost for 3-4 mths alr, i can say this car is worth for money... so far 2 things i dont like

1) poor NVH esp front fender/wheel arch
2) FC a bit high in city area, but on highway really so far the best i can get is rm0.13 per km for highway. (i think p1 solved with FLX)

i still remember my relative told me that when we test drive PROTON car at the showroom, the car will be equipt with all the insulation to make the car appealing to customer that why when test drive wow ok.. when got the car they said not the same got problem... actually its the the way round... the car that you all test drive are what they call pre production car..to test the operator to assemble new parts on the car.. so the car might not be perfect as mass production car... so to me I won't listen to others but experience it yourself

yes flx solve some general problem like engine re-tuned, new gearbox . FC improvement.
one thing the flx,, i still feel is the engine drone (hums) as it pushed hard.

1.6 FLX going to launch on this november. may be together with exora turbo.

Anyways, for all Autoworld forummers, this is my update on my dilemma!

I kicked up a big fuss, emailing to Ambank Hq and BNM! Yes even the Godfather BNM got a complaint from me about Ambank.
So under the akta "Boh Pian" act..... Ambank had to scramble to their feet and find out about the matter.

Officer after officer called me and emailed me, acknowledging my complaint and vowing to get to the root of this!
So the conclusion I had the right as a customer to REFUSE to buy the insurance. Eventough I am a believer in insurance and I know it is all a benefit to the insured, I tested my luck and refused to buy when an Officer from Ambank JB called me, and she said it was ok, and apoligised for the matter.

However later, my wife decided to purchase the insurance as the benefits above. So only then in my own choice, I am buying the insurance.

So to all forummers, if you are forced to buy the insurance, you can refuse! It is your right!

i think insurance is something that we cannot run off when we are buying a car.. it just that we don't have to be forced to buying to a certain company as there is some other insurance company that offers competitive package interm of better customer service, fast services, extensive coverage as well as the standard compensation on accident and life.
