I just serviced my car, changed to Torco SR-5 5w50 .. You can really feel the difference..! I highly recommend using this oil, a bit expensive la, RM83 for 1 liter.. need 5 liters.. Apart from that, i change my gearbox.. Was already time, change to Torco oil SGO SYN 75w90 i liter rm105 X 2.. now changing gears are so much easy and smooth smile.gif

Btw, im still surveying place to paint my car.. have anyone heard of Yen Fatt in subang (beside old airpot)..? good?

Hmmmm.... well...why there r still people outside really love the old 16v? Fragile, costly parts, diff to find parts n other desease n plague tat famously known to 16V??? There are also many ex-16V owners tat are still cant forget or worst, being haunted by their past experience with 16V. There is a person tat i know sold his 16V n upgraded to Subaru Ver 8 yet still cant forget their memories with 16V? Why this old, boxy shape, not-so-sexy car still haunting its previous owners, current owners or even wish to be owners???

Its no Evo, Skyline, Supra, Merc, BMW, Porsche...it is juz a stupid French car with Frenchie attitude...Hmmmm... Why ar???

Fragile? costly parts? diff to find parts? LOL.. i beg to differ.. I have no prob with my 16v, its always in tip top shape .. parts are easy to find if you done your research, you just have to go look for it.. if you expect to rely on your foreman only than your not doing much.. Part expensive? definitely cheaper than the cars you've mentioned.. Usually people who buy Citroen (especially zx) are those people looking for cheap cars and often expect the car to run perfect, cheapskate people who dunno how to maintain their car, know how to drive only.. when the car doesn't perform, easily blame the car.. just like that!

Yes, citroen zx 16v is not Evo, Skyline, Supra, Merc, BMW, Porsche .. Those are high performance cars, made for track race.. zx 16v arent.. How can you compare with turbo cars produce now, and with bigger cylinders.. DUHH!..Put a good driver on a tip top 16v on a twisties, it'll prolly put shame to bigger cylinder sports cars. I just whack a wrx in mr2, zig zag lately.. big pocket drivers usually have no balls to race, only know straight line performance (personal experience yeah, dont get offended).. Me with my cheap french babe, have nothing to lose.. Plus side, its still way way way cheaper than the cars you've mentioned, anytime anyday..

My advice to Citroen owners, know your car, and you'll be fine.. =)

Peace out!

ZX 16V is fast, at that yrs 2000 time of era cars! Ya agreed now compared with the newer cars is alittle slower, as compared to the Pug 308Tthp and even a golf 1.4 tsi - still can do some chasing with them (depending on the driver driving the cars) ZX is very good and road biting - on corners and winding roads, I like driving it so much each week end, take to trash it up and clean up the carbon - hehehehe - It my wife and kids cars - it wrinkle on the road like a snake !!!! Mine sold 6 yrs ago. still miss driving it!

Cheers! Enjoy your ride!
