sound crazy ride smile_tongue.gif because my wifey wanted to have the recycle bag and only Rondo available on the spot to test drive, so just test it out. I was at KSL city this afternoon, walk to the lobby, saw KIA road show with pretty models, 1 beautiful lady walk toward me while I am checking the new sportage, asked me to fill up the form and get free gift - pen, then my wife saw me chitchat with the model, cameover smile_blackeye.gif she asked her for the recycle bag, she told my wife that one need to test drive. So I pretend to be not a Rondo owner smile_tongue.gif

Wanted to try the sportage but have to wait for que, then settle with Rondo. The diff :

1) Keyless, remote now in 1 pc
2) Awful lock/unlock sound still there
3) More chrome part inside the car, the door lock/unlock button,
4) 2nd row no more split 60/40, all in 1 pc
5) Door opening not solid like my 1st batch Rondo
6) No more Naza logo in the entire car.

For performance wise I think still a par with my ageing Rondo, I hit 110K KM on the odo meter smile_approve.gif

Thanks for sharing ~~ Keyless Entry is common now. And I thought they would put Theta II engine in, and it seems still Theta I = codename G4KA.

Keyless entry means without having to manually press the "unlock" button on the remote controller, the door handle can be pulled and open the door, so long as the key is within 3 meters radius from the car.

So nice to hear you have got yourself to 70k km, and please keep up the good ride smile_thumbup.gif

So far 20615 km when I handed the MPV back to my spouse to drive daily to work yesterday, 375 days run to date. No modification whatsoever, tyres already rotated once at 15k km. Will rotate the next at 30k km mileage. Then will continue with 10k km interval. Engine oil is 5W30 Petronas Synthium fully synthetics (seems no longer sold in the open market, only for Naza I think). The only thing changed so far (due to break down and under warranty) are two :

a. horn
b. Air conditioner compressor due to ball bearing cracked

my Rondo hits 110kkm already, I am using 10w30 FS oil lubrimaxx from Australia, I am on 2nd bottle. Awesome performance with cheap price, worth every single cent.

I've also changed my coolant, brake oil and steering oil during 100kkm service.

Rondo, I think the best car that I've ever owned. If you ask me, what's your next car? Proudly and loudly say our : Kia, probably Sportage or Sorento.

Yes, there is a command problem on Rondo air con compressor's bearing. Many Rondo have this problem. If you are still under warranty, they will claim a brand new compressor for you. For me, i pay RM 200 to change the internal bearing..

Do u change the fuel or Petrol filter? I just changed mine on 70k Service.. The petrol filter is located at the 3rd rows seat. It has to be taken out from there.. After changing, you car will have petrol smell for about 1 week..
