most ppl after buying/having one BLM in the family, normally they would say....this will be the last proton i will ever buy. my family said that, my boss said that, ex-owner of my iswara said that, my aunts friend who once owned a tiara, even commented the tiara is much better than BLM (which is true, i once had a tiara in my family...it was a sweet car to drive but maintenance is hell), regretted scrapping her tiara for the BLM.....

if u dont already have had a myvi at home, i highly recomend u get a myvi or a i10 or anything instead of BLM smile_sleepy.gif

i got 4 proton car in my family, my next car going to be proton also...

nowadays p2 QC is lebih kurang with proton ... if u r myvi owner, then u probably know it's famous issue like cracked windscreen, disc brake rotor, exhaust/silencer issue, audio HU and etc...... All these famous issues happen for my wifey myvi as well... sad.gif

currently i am driving my sis saga FL(few mths alr), in term of handling, confirm better than myvi but not as good as wajunk or persona... but i admit that NVH for saga fl is lousy than myvi becoz they didnt soundproofing properly on firewall and fender area. I gonna buy dynamat and stick all over fender, bonnet and c-pillar area... smile.gif

Used to drive my Co.'s SAGA BLM 1.3 with Automatic Transmission. (I hate Auto, but no other choices)

Generally OK, no rattles what-so-ever, although the internal door handles & radio control-buttons look cheap & more like toys. Good performance on the highway for 1.3 liter car.

1.6FL should be even better in performance compared to 1.3 although I personally feel that extra precaution must be observed whilst conering due to high CG, narrow track, & small tyres.

If I'm still young & have a choice to be student again, I would definately get myself a Honda CRX, Honda Civic DX (Hatchback), FORD Laser TX-3 (1.8 DOHC) or a MAZDA 323 Familia (H/B)

after i "hardcore" SAGA FL last few week(140-150km/h) on NS highway, recently found out FC getting better... highway able to get 0.13/km and city around 0.15/km....

bro, i just install armrest and auto brake lock for my sis saga FL. when press brake, 4 door will automatically lock... smile_thumbup.gif smile_thumbup.gif

auto lock is a must for lady car esp in city... smile_thumbup.gif smile_thumbup.gif

there is improvement for new FL??

may be consider persona also..

myvi too light..overprice ..

proton did mention 'improvements' when we book the BLM.. i was there as usual, mocking the salesman about how bad my dad's waja was, and kept insisting that he gave us free tinting, door visors and extra carpets for the car...pity the salesman..lol. nowonder now when i walk into proton showroom, he dont even wanna look at my face...lol.

first day when took delivery of the BLM, the steering rack got rust, and worst of all, the Roof Leaks water! no joke. still got the water stain in the car. they didnt install the antenna properly.

u should test drive both cars too. i also have the option to choose between persona and BLM then. test drove both and i chose BLM. their test cars cheat ppl badly. the test BLM was much more powerful than what we got. we only got the BLM because we already had a myvi in the family.

i sent the BLM to Eon last week to claim whatever can be claimed before the warranty ends this month. had the IAFM, belt tensioners, rear abs, torsion beam, power window switch, and rear brake pumps changed.

initially i thought of trading in my iswara for an inspira manual. after 2nd thought, i'd rather go for a used 2002 camry acv30. the only proton i will keep is my dad's old mitsu engined waja. not the best proton but its undoubtly, the best car for the driver smile_approve.gif

The test car is not any cheating ppl.. this is because the test car has been driven by SA, users, so many times.....

The ecu learn the aggressive style of all the drivers... and finally it response better that any new car...
