Thanks for the compliment... Yes, the bigger car is for my wife to be "Mummy taxi" for my kids from school, tuition etc... The smaller car is mine but, I would have got the Mazda 3 MPS if it came out earlier...

1) Exterior Design - Frankly, what attracted me to get this car in the first place was the exterior shape. There is no other SUV besides the old Murano that has a shape that is so aerodynamic. The typical Mazda bulging front fenders makes the car look very Garang. I like that in a car.
2) Interior Design - The finishing and material used in the CX-7 can be compared to the other premium cars. I specifically like the blackout dashboard with the speedometer at 6 o'clock which reminds me of the Audi A4 speedometer. The Auto Lights, Auto Wipers function is something that I like very much in which I already have that in my other car. The BOSE sound system is something that you do not need to upgrade anymore, unless you want a DVD player with GPS in the future.
3) Engine Power - with a 2.3 DISI turbo engine, and a 6 speed AISIN gearbox, the drive is powerful. But the turbo kicks in only at 2500 rpm. There is a small turbo lag. Turbo drivers are used to this. NA drivers will complain that there is a delay in power... As the car is quite heavy, personally, I find that the pick up from 0-100 km/h is a little sluggish. This is because I am comparing it with my other car which is a turbocharged hatchback. The reason to that is that the car is heavy and its a SUV. So, for a SUV, its powerful and really, I shouldn't compare it to a hatchback. The pickup from 80 - 160km/h is damn good... the pull is excellent... I drove the car to Genting and Cameron Highlands... the climb was quite a breeze...
