I hope everybody is home safe & sound.

Really enjoyed seeing all the Rextonians with their families having a good time. Thanks to NIK and the other chefs, I really enjoyed the Barbie and the curry / oyster sauce chicken.

I am really sorry, that I couldn't stay with you longer on sat nite. Don't know why I miscalculated the distance to the hotel, somehow got mixed up with Legend Resort and Hyatt smile_blackeye.gif
So we ended up with an hours drive each way to the hotel. Would have loved to re-join u guys after bringing the boy back to the hotel, which was the original plan, but not with a 1 hr long drive each way... wacko.gif

Left on sunday 1ish, in order to avoid traffic on the way into KL and go for a late lunch. Had a really smooth ride and made it in 2,5 hrs with less then a half tank.

Really want to get my torbo hose replaced. Always was worried about the hose to pop out and stall us on the highway. Not really peace of mind especially when pushing it a bit with the original hose.

Catch up with you soon, latest next TT in 2 weeks time.

Cheers.

Traffic was really heavy and slow moving on the route from Cherating to Kuantan, we got stuck on the 1st day to buy the grocery.

You can replace with original hoses with stainless steel or aluminium like Bro Byebye2u, did you checked his out before? But it still need silicone hose as connecting point.

Hi Bros,

I achieved 295kms with slightly more than than half tank to get back from Cherating to Shah Alam. I am trying to learn bro tkw138 driving style with not much of a push on that throttle pedal. I tried maintaining my rpm around 2500 rpm with progressive pick-up.

Hmmm......but my FC still sucks big time......or maybe i am just heavy and big in size ? LOL smile_cry.gif

Good chance to try out driving on sand without worried of getting stuck with so many Rextons around and towing cable. The lesson learnt is never try to push hard on sand, that will only dig the sand deeper. The only way out is to engage 4L, that came out right away.

Meal comes after meal, the maggie mee and biscuits never get a chance to be served too. Luckily, we bought only 5X5 packets and 3 small packet of biscuits, not 3 cartons of Maggie and 3 containers of biscuits as suggested earlier. If not, can distribute Maggie Mee and biscuit as souvenir for everyone to bring back.

Assuming if the half tank cost RM60, it is about $0.20/km that is not really that bad. How is the traffic condition? On my way back, the heavy is quite slow and heavy before Genting Sempah.

It could also be your tire size of 265/70 that is heavier which consume more fuel, especially from iddle to get moving and for fast acceleration. Any other bros on the same tire size can share their FC too?

Hey guys,

I think i posted the FC on the wrong thread. Pls pardon me....still blurry and not enuf sleep. First nite slept at 3 am in the morning walking on the beach with bro r3xt0n & bro byebye2u looking for sea turtles........but we found none sad.gif
However, there were three odd looking ones still not willing to rest in bed.......I think if must be bro r3xt0n that frighten all the sea turtles away ! ROFL.....and you know something ........he made a hole even bigger than the leatherback's can dig.......really sweet........muahahahahah. Bro r3xt0n, you know what i meant rite .....kekekekek.

Anyway guys, thanks all for such a wonderful time. It is the togetherness and companianship that will be ever-lasting in my memories forever........and hey, we need to give special thanks to bro chriss & bro mckhairie for making this trip....is really an effort though. Bro chriss spaghetti is simply delicious and bro wirahijau, i did not get a chance to taste you pisang goreng lar......too good until sold out !! hAHAHA.

Really looking forward to the next trip or activities.

Cheers.
