Hi Bro,

Many of you still guessing here and there about the turbo leaking issue, actually the oil is leak from the Oil Seperator passed from Air filter suction hose. pls check your oil saperator condition.

I don't feel much power improve after changed the new turbo...should try to service the turbo before you replace the new turbo...sometime it is just too much carbon bulid up on the waste gate.

can clean wastegate or not?

Oil from seperator is a source of oil but if the centre shaft has too much free play and the turbo oily and leaky and oil is flying everywhere including the firewall then time for new turbo. Other than wastegate what is there to service in the turbo.

Hi Bro,

"IF" the oil is from the centre shaft, still can replace the copper bush, the service kits, the price is about RM1xx only if we can get ourself and service ourself...

Another thing is how they know their turbo is leaking..? or they just saw some oil stain on the turbo...?

My turbo was wet with oil on the inlet side and can see oil specks on the firewall and here and there. But my experience having turbos serviced in such condition with a loose centre shaft have not been successful. That's why I got a new one and more do when I can get special price for it.

Hi Bro,

Maybe you can send your old unit for me to test, will help you to rebuild it back, if there is nothing serious damage..

Just got an update to report, the turbo unable to be fabricated in time as the Silicone hose is insufficient. We will arrange collection once it is ready, hopefully by next week.
