I asked the salesman why the show unit 2.0 showed that fuel consumption was 27.5L/100km. Yes, you din read
wrongly and I typed correctly!!!

Salesman told me that it was due to there was a heavy traffic jam when they drove from Senawang to the showroom.

Do you think that it is possible?

Stop for 10hours due to traffic jam with engine on and then finished 20km in minutes. How high will be in this situation?

Okay, the published FC for Naza Forte is 7 L per 100 km. Let's assume that this car gives the best FC at speed 60 km/h. So, to complete a 100 km drive requires a total time of 1.7 hours (100 km divided by 60 km/h).

Now, 1.7 hours gives you a FC rate of 7 km per 100 km. As a rough guide, let's assume that FC is linearly related to number of hours. Since you were stuck in a traffic jam for 10 hours, this duration is equivalent to an FC rate of 42 L per 100 km (10 hours multiplied by 7 L per 100 km divided by 1.7 hours).

So, you can see that an extreme condition such as a long traffic jam can substantially increase your car's FC. This is one of the reasons why to accurately determine a car's FC, you need to take the average of measurements over a long period, not just after one or two events.
