orange light come up today, 686.8 km , and top-up RM131.50 diesel. about 52km per rm10 diesel or 19.1 sen per km.
not bad under my "normal" driving , if "sopan santun" driving sure can exceed 700km per tank.....and that just by replacing the vaccum turbo hose!!

Had a new turbo put into my old Rex. Power improve especially at cruising speed. Lag reduced but still more than Rex II. Put in the performance turbo hose from the vacuum modulator to the turbo wastegate. Lag reduced substantially. Still very slight lag. Will put in the other vacuum hoses in a few days.
One more set please for my RexII.

Which type of turbo you install? Our nõrmal turbo is gt 20 from garret which produce165hp another one the new one is td04 vgn from mitsubishi with186hp.
Just ask one of turbo specialist as they scared to implant td04 to rex 1 inview of they never done it.they also inform that gt20 can be ugrade until gt25 turbine as it have same

Also ask them how much to rebuilt our turbo,he said about 1000 plus if replace normal wear n tear part.
Also where did u do the transplant?

The Vacuum Modulator to Turbo Vacuum Hose is provided in extra length, you can cut off the longer end of Silicone Hose (Blue Hose) after installation.

Both end is the same, the blue hose at the end is the same size of our original hose. The longer blue end is meant as extra for you to remove after you run it nicely. So, you should connect the longer blue hose end at the last.
