hi guys,
i am also considering this rare piece of engineering. however, i am not familiar with Saab beside belongs to GM last time.
the model i am in is Saab 9-3 year 2006 and above. can someone here list down what are the official model were offered before? i understand many version in terms of power. in fact i am keen in the Combi. love wagon...
talking about reliability issue, is the turbo ok? parts availability?
thanks for your info.

the sportcombi is truly rare in malaysia. my ex colleague may have a unit for sale. it is a sport+ version with 195hp.
FYI, the standard hp is 150 for malaysia. the tuned up (by hirsch) version has 195hp while the top of the line aero has 210hp. later on, the 2.8L V6 aero was introduced with 250hp. super low volume. most of the sportcombi were of the sport+ version. the other version was the standard linear and very rare, the aero 2.8.

the car is a bit of an underdog in the market. mostly under the radar of car buyers most of the time. for those who discover it, it should be a pretty good buy if they are able to find a good mechanic to maintain it.
i think Saab is a good car but in Malaysia, where to have this car maintain? Any specialist around? and parts availability?
