Does the reading change every time you stepped on the accelerator?
Or it changes when you reset the reading?
Usually it does not change much unless rapid acceleration or
reading reset by long press at tip of left stick.
I have addded car mat to red coil mat cost RM120 for 5 pcs set on top of the original.
No mod so far but thinking of sticking 'graphite' sticker on B-pillar. Cause always left
oily finger print on it.
I m abt to reach 4 mths with 10K run.

the reading change while cruising....i reset only the trip meter ONLY...the rest remain as default....hmmm my friend told me it changes due to driving style....if u drive speedy..it will show high l/km....if moderate drive...will change to lower l/km...
anyway thanks for the info.....
one thing i notice...the front brake pad dust are terrible....made my rims get dirty faster!...damn....all stocked cars brake pads are same...have u did any detailing for your car?
i'm planning to try sierra glow....i heard a lot of good reviews by users....do it one time...then u no need wax/polish...just clean by water.......

After looking at the new Tucson's cun looks , I have to call X-Trail as Ah pek car......
Damn , I better faster go brain wash my mum to go for Korean/German cars , either :
- Tucson 2.4 Dual CVVT or
- Golf 1.4 Twin Turbo
The exterior and interior looks just beat the crap out of X-Trail.

But i guess, ur mom could be better with Tucson

Only god brake pad exhausted out dust. I know there is a thing called wheel dust cover placing between the brake disc n rim to stop these dust from spreading to rim. But sorry dunno any shops here still selling.
I did not do any detailing yet cos I think the car is still pretty new.

Saw plenty of Cruze in SG. Colour of choice is RED. Red with double exhaust and chrome tail pipe looks awesome!

S r can accept other brands of car than M.
M r all with planted mind that T & H r the only good brands in the whole entire world.
But not knowing they r giving low spec/hi $ car to M.
Always think of resale value before even buy new car.

With oil about to hit US$100 again, Naza should seriously consider bringing in the 1.4 turbo version. Instead I read in The Star today that it is thinking of introducing the Volt and even worse, the gas-guzzling Camaro. Why create new logistical headaches when the number of Chevys on the road is still small? Naza should consolidate around the Cruze and Captiva to penetrate the Malaysian market. It should start by building economies of scale around these mainstays such as by bringing down the total costs of ownership, especially the service and maintenance costs. People love the ride and comfort of the Cruze but are turned off by the BMW-like maintenance costs.

10km/L not so good and not so bad.
20% worst than average at 1400kg.
still maintain OPTRA FC.
Hi wpchin,
For a car close to 1400kg, 10km/L in actual FC reading is considered good. In reality, FC reading is always lower than manufacturers' claims especially those that never taken reading on real roads with real traffic. Not to forget the low grade RON95 fuel that we are pumping would burn off faster than higher than RON98 fuel that manufacturers using in their test. Some 1.6L and 1.8L Japs makes are getting just 10km/L in real life city traffic FC.
Hi maherman,
When EURO 3 or better grade diesel is introduced and given that there are sufficient pumps, most manufacturers would bring in diesel powered cars. If that happened, the monopoly Japs brands will have to make for brands that have range of diesel powered cars like what happened in Europe. By that time, T and H would have to rely heavily on hybrid to survive. In comparison of efficient diesel vs hybrid, the diesel could win in practicality, durability and reliability with comparable FC yet cheaper diesel.

We tested the Cruze 2.0 diesel in Thailand a couple of days back, and here's our report:
Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 LTZ - Diesel variant tested in BangkokI was told that as of now, there are no plans to offer this variant in Malaysia, but would you guys like to see it come?
