consider also citra rondo and saving of 20K. downside, it is a 7 seater where else innova is genuine 8 seater.

rondo is city car, suitable for highway but must avoid small flood and serious kampung side off-road.

innova can beat that, plus it has second row a/c blower. the 20K difference is somehow worth it.

twin airbags, ABS, 4 speed AT, variable valve timing with timing chain, they both have it. rondo is FWD, innova is rear.

Personally I find driving the Innova at between 100 - 120 kph is more relaxing and safe, instead of higher speed. It was not designed/built for that purpose.

Absolutely! It's a people mover.. Not a race boy toy.
For speeding, low c of g models such as caldina, wish and grandis would be much stable however I wouldn't risk the lives on board...

Your gear shifter is directly connected to the gearbox. So when engine shakes, the gear shifter will shake also.

nope, what HQ? Toyota is it? fyi, i am not working with UMW.

for a saving of 20K, it is worth considering the maintenance cost. even the old Citra has robust mechanicals.

My 2005 innova still running ok, no problem, just need regular service 1t 10k km interval. So far only the absorbers soft. My bro 2006 innova clocking 140k km just repalce his front absorbers (gas) cost RM300++ per set (not ori, but OEM of honda). Not that expensive la.

and by this July my Innova will be up to 210000km, so was thinking of trade in my innova to get a brand new Innova, I am thinking will there be a new model Innova launching soon?
