Bro, no need to be shock, since all car same, tyre care is a must for every car, so can i ask, do u rotate tyre before? and how offen u pump air to ur tyre?? this basic 2 thing will shorten ur tyre life if u don't taken care. Happy driving!
p/s: 20K is max life for performance tyre, is all depend on ur TreadWear state on ur tyre.

Goodyear NCT5 can hardly be called a performance tyre But I concur, regular checks for uneven wear and tyre pressure helps keep the tyres in tip top shape.

I've clocked 35k km already and i've sent mine for alignment & balancing at least 3 times maybe more becoz sometimes i sent ASAP whenever i don't feel good after accidently overrun potholes and speed hump. I check tyre pressure at least every month and I did rotate twices already. So far my NCT5 still wear evenly front and back. Just waiting the best time to get my car a new shoes...

My friend is knowledgeable - check tyre pressures once a month. Wheel alignment done every 10K kms. Even asked SDAC why there is more brake dust on the rear wheels. SDAC said it is different brake pad material and nothing to worry about.
Latest update - car is now on Yokohama C-drive 2 fitted to the rear. Lets see how long this tyre will last. My friend decided to retain the Nexen N8000s in front since it can last around 25K kms. The car now has 50K kms on the clock and is on its third set of tyres.

I ditched the OEM NCT5 as soon as I got the car. Changed to Falken 452 and later to Yokohama S-drive. The tyres lasted about 35,000 km before replacement.
Bad wheel alignment, over-inflation and under-inflation will shorten tyre lifespan. :-)
