I think if u let your daughter hav a test drive, she will likes the Gen2 CPS better.
Only ask me why if she did go for Gen2 CPS,but by then u oso understand why.

Being a women(No offence here) she wont feel any difference as its the same sitting in the driver seat of the Persona and Gen2.Only when the vehicle start moving will she feel the difference, that is if she is very sensitive.
If u want to use the car to carry tall passenger,u might wanna avoid the Gen2.

One more thing i should warn u....
Women tends to go fast, very fast indeed when she is alone.
I was surprised last week when i convoy with my friend's Myvi to Kajang.
Right after entering Ayer Keroh toll, she straight away cruised at 150kmh.
I was.....What The H#!!......
Sure i can do more than keep up but its totally not safe for her right?

On the way back to Melaka yesterday it was raining heavily.
Surprisingly these lady driver hav the common sense to slow down and drove on the middle lane.
Opposite story with men.
Me,i just whack 130-140kmh on the right lane....hehehehe.
Cheapo Sime tyre Astar 300 are loosing grip on the rear when changing lane.

Hav to be quick lh,need to reach home in Melaka in time for berbuka puasa.
Which is why i get frustrated by some driver whom refuse to give way despite he/she is driving to slow on the right lane.

tq to Bro gunnerzz and everyone on the valuable feedback.....

with an average height of 170cm in the family i think Gen2 is out for know.

It is between BLM and Persona but look like the later is the top choice in term of spaciousness, engine cap, look and most of all the safety aspect in the H-line.

and on the driving style of some women i tend to agreed to bro gunnerzz... i use to drive down south driving at 150km/h and this lady in 1.3 aeroback potong dgn selamba. gosh....

this a problem with most malaysian driver..... couldnt careless..... drive fast first.... overtake everyone and kalau ade org mahu potong tekan lagi... ( seen this in many of Myvi driver) ...safety aspect of the car later lah....

Morning guys

Since i first discuss on this topic about 5 months ago, finally me and daughter had decided on the new Saga FL executive variant for her ride. Under the graduate scheme she is entitle to 100% loan. Still thinking whether to pun in some deposit to lower the monthly installment.

The look with the new head and tail light, 4 power window, 2 airbags, all round alloy rim and usb/aux connector for the audio are among the main factor for choosing this model.

Hope the QC of the car will be up to the mark when we received the car in 2 weeks time.

Any comments from you guys especially to those who had driven the normal saga and this facelift version. Appreciate to have your view.

tq

Dun worry about the milo sound.
The chassis is strong,hard,firm,
Imagine Waja's chassis firmness.Body panel are there to absorb all the impact and the chassis is there to save your life.

The engine can take the punishment but i doubt it will be for long so my advice is drive sedately.

I hav yet to drive the FL (anyone can lend me yours?) and i hope the absorber problem, fender vibration, IAFM problem, Lash adjuster problem, power steering piping vibration when turning, has been solved.

One more thing, change the brake pad and shoe to better alternative.

1. absorber problem
Drive slowly without switching on the radio and aircond, window oso wind up.
Listen closely,if there is tuk3 sound then confirm its the absorber. SC does not resolve this problem earlier coz when they test the car, they will go fast and drive over manhole cover which wont produce the sound.

2. Fender vibration
Sound is krek3 and certain speed only and the speed it happen depends on your luck.
Now, mine will produce sound at 75kmh which is annoying coz i will cruise at that speed when i am low on fuel.
Solved it just now by applying thin layer of gasket maker where the body panel contact. DOnt mind to send to sc as they will take longer than the time the gasket maker needs to dry to solved the fender vibration. U will thought the sound is coming from the dash or side mirror but trust me, its the fender.

3. IAFM problem.
The most common among IAFM-equipped Campro. Super loud tak3 sound. its louder than the usual teppet sound.
FC will be high but in some case, power is better if not affected at all.

4. Lash adjuster problem
The tak3 sound is a little softer than IAFM sound. Listen closely and u can clearly locate if the sound is coming from the rocker cover or the IAFM. However the Campro tends to prodece louder mechanical noise when using thin oil.

5. Power steering piping vibration
The problem is the same with GEN2 and Pesona. U might say your Gen2 or Pesona is not affected coz it only happen when the requirement is fully met. It only happen when u are turning the steering more than 90 degree and at the same time drove on a bump. The sound produce is klak3. So far, only one particular corner in Melaka which will make my BLM produce the sound.
