browse lowyat.net. under fast and furious. someone just posted 2 pics of a grey kizashi at putrajaya!. too bad no internal pics. dying to know whether they brought in the 6 speed manual or plain old boring CVT.
The price? no one knows yet. well it better be below 130k, considering its brand presence not up to H/T standards in Malaysia and the fact that mitsu lancer sportback with 2.4L engine also costs around 130k (and wonder what's the response?-not good likely).
if priced like accord/camry 2.0L equivalent, it will have a hard time establishing a foothold in malaysia.

Hmm better start saving

Not really. If it sells at RM130k kosong, then Toyota and Honda are safe. The Kizashi has to be fully-kitted at that price to make any impact.

don't think it will be a kosong model. just wonder if ppl can accept the huge 2.4L engine with petrol prices going up. noted, it is about the price of a civic and altis 2.0 but mass acceptance of the engine size is a question mark to me.

in sg, a magazine tested it against a legacy and mentioned that it was better than the legacy 2.5.

Agree. I don't think it'll be a 'kosong' model. Should be kitted well or at least on par with other 2.4.

price confirmed to be RM150k++. Expect no one to buy. 2.4 litre engine with 18" rims... bloody expensive to run and maintain. You're lucky if can get spares too if involved in fender bender.
Often wrong, never in doubt...

It will not sell in great numbers but for Suzuki fans it will be a sweet car to own. So what if it is 2.4L? You can always pump Ron95 and Japanese cars, apart from those high performance type, will run well with Ron95 as there is no point pump higher Ron as you do not gain much bhp from it.

Imagine having a run on the highway and sticking to the tail of a BMW, priceless. smile_tongue.gif
