Hi Darrel & Kawkawchan,

Thanks. As already done head to toe inspection and evaluation, Forte 1.6EX beats all competitors in overall. I'll check out the link after this. How the club works? Is it hosted by Naza? Do they provide advanced driving lesson to owners like Honda & Mitsu club? The K or Kia badges, expensive leh. Can use it for 1 month food.

Hi DSAI,

Wow, are you serious? The 15" rims in EX are cheap rims compared to your expensive 17" rims. If you trade in with shops for better quality 15" or certain 16" rims, they'll even give you free exchange. Forte 1.6SX rims are more expensive + better quality than some of those at sport rim shop. Check with several sports rim shops, you'll know. Better think twice because I think you will sure regret later. Handling will get less grip in 15", no more that tight grip when take hard corner.

The FC of Forte 1.6SX if driven lightfoot it could get 11.8km/L at city traffic. Changing to 15" rims will only improve by mere 0.1km/L as compared to another collegue's Forte 1.6SX using the same lightfoot technique at 2000rpm or 2500rpm, in city traffic bumper to bumper <2000rpm.

Driven the Forte EX hard these few days including acceleration, throwing corners and max revv at 1 occasion + mostly normal city traffic, it returns 11.2km/L, trip 311km with 27.8L of fuel RON95 BHP.

Forte is over 1.3T which is heavy compared to the normal 1.5 Saloons on the rd.
City is 1.1T, Vios should be 1.0-1.1T. Civic is 1.3T so Forte 1.6 or 2.0 weights almost on pile w Civic.
Its a heavy car + 17 inch rims n tyres...fuel FC will be high.
Driver style plays a part as well.
Forte 1.6 4AT (1.3T) vs Vios 1.5 AT vs City 1.5 5AT, surely forte will consume more but not more than 10%.
Dont forget, Vios n City are on 15inch wheels.
No uphill drive, all surely draggy..
Forte 2.0 with 4AT, long gear ratio, will be draggy based on logic.
But with 2.0 6AT, ha...VROOM!

cannot compare with vios la. FOrte is global car. TOyota global car is altis/corolla and camry. Vios is for japan city drive and southeast asia market. Vios only in SEA and China(not sure if jap got it), and honda city....is also in ...India and SEA only.

Forte is a way way better car. Vios is for city driving so it is very light thus, FC low.
