last week system overload due to everyone rushing to settle the summons to enjoy the 50% disc.
yes, staying in KL, and just bought a Sonata

Hi KL3223,

Then it seems like I misunderstood the JPJ department already~~ smile_tongue.gif So far have you found any good SC to service your car? I travel to KL quite frequently and don't mind service it at KL provided that SC enjoys good reputation among the owners~

Have a nice day!!!

did you survey Optima 2009? What is the lowest price you found out?

Hi Gogo2,

As a matter of fact, the sales consultant quoted RM80,000; I think the unit available should be manufactured in year 2008. And I told him last year they already quoted me RM80,000 so the price for this year should be lower. Then he said he would refer to his boss, which he called me back the next day to tell me that his boss would like to discuss face-to-face with me about the offer price. So I think the price level should be somewhere below RM80,000.

Hope this info helps~ cheers!!

Hi ccc628,

...In short, NF 2.4 is a good car - worth every $ you paid for...

Just my honest review.

Hi lcw8067,

Thanks for your review and I appreciate it a lot~ your review boost my confidence towards this car... not that I am not sure of what I have chosen, but as you know, the "Korean-Car-is-Bad" perception has been here for so long and has poisoned so many minds~~ smile_cry.gif My friends keep asking me 'why Korean cars?' type of question once they know I have booked one~

Well, personally I am not against any brand but I really Korean make can keep on improving and become a firm competitors for Japan or even European makes~~ rolleyes.gif so we consumers can have more choices~

outdated model

Yes, it may be superceded but it is still a very, very good car at its RRP. Now, with the clearance, it is an even sweeter deal.

I think the NF is still a superior car to the current Camry smile_thumbup.gif

Less than 80k?

This is cheap! smile_thumbup.gif
I would have quoted someone smart here and make me look smart but not as much smarter as the smart one I quoted from. I'm smart, yeah!

Hi all,

I'm from Penang and awaiting for my Sonata NF 2.4 too. After did a lot of survey online and talk to people, I've make up my mind to choose Sonata NF 2.4 over Japanese car.

Hope we can exchange info here and let the Sonata NF sparks light up further here!

Cheers.

I've one fitted on my Sonata NF - DVD/MP3/GPS/Radio and etc all in one, but the DVD drive broke down after about 11 months of low usage. All other functions are still working fine. Lately the steering wheel remote control (mute, vol +/-, seek +/-, mode) are behaving strangely - some buttons work fine but others are intermittent or not functioning at all, need to put back the original head unit to confirm the source of the problem.

Hi sifu,

I am just wondering would installing a different unit of HU would void the warranty or not? Coz' I intend to fit a reverse camera as well, coz' my wife is not very good in reversing car~~ especially big one life the NF smile_tongue.gif
